The 1973 All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship was the 43rd staging of the All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship. The championship began on 5 August 1973 and ended on 2 September 1973. Kevin Robinson (hurler)
Kevin Robinson (born 1955) is an Irish people, Irish retired hurling, hurler who played as a midfielder for the Kilkenny GAA, Kilkenny senior team. Robinson joined the team during the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship 1975, 1975 championship and was a senior panelist for just two seasons. An All-Ireland medalist in the All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship, All-Ireland minor and All-Ireland Under-21 Hurling Championship, All-Ireland Under-21 hurling championships, he had little success at senior level. John Grogan (hurler)
John Grogan (born 1956 in Cashel, County Tipperary, Ireland) is an Irish retired hurler who played as a full-forward for the Tipperary senior team. A dual player in the minor and under-21 grades, Grogan made his first appearance for the Tipperary senior team in the 1976 championship. He was a semi-regular member of the team over much of the next decade. During that time he failed to land any honours as his inter-county career coincided with a sharp downturn in Tipperary's fortunes. The 1959 All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship was the 29th staging of the All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1928. Limerick entered the championship as the defending champions, however, they were beaten by Tipperary in the Munster final. On 6 September 1959 Tipperary won the championship following a 2-8 to 2-7 defeat of Kilkenny in the All-Ireland final.
