Nacional Fast Clube
Nacional Fast Clube, or Fast Clube, as they are usually called, is a Brazilian football team from Manaus in Amazonas, founded on 8 July 1930. Fast is the second-best ranked team from Amazonas in CBF's national club ranking, behind Manaus. History The club was founded by a group of members and players of the Nacional, who commanded by the leader Vivaldo Lima and the player then captain of the team Rodolpho Gonçalves decided to leave the club. The reason for the discord was a political maneuver of the then president of the Nacional, Leopoldo Mattos with change of the statute of the Nacional on the eve of the presidential election, taking the players the right to vote. The athletes wanted Vivaldo Lima for the presidency, and were closed around the name of the doctor and leader. Tuna Luso Brasileira, commonly referred to as Tuna Luso, is a Brazilian professional football club based in Belém, Pará founded on 1 January 1903. It competes in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série D, the fourth tier of Brazilian football, as well as in the Campeonato Paraense, the top flight of the Pará state football league. History Tuna Luso was founded initially as a musical band. It occurred because the Portuguese cruiser ''Dom Carlos'' was going to visit the port of Belém on November 12, 1902. Some Portuguese youths, residing in the city, decided to found a musical band to receive their fellow countrymen. The name they chose to the band was Tuna Luso Caixeiral. Tuna means popular orchestra, Luso means Portuguese, and Caixeiral means commerce employee. The Torneio Norte-Nordeste (English: North-Northeast Tournament) was a football competition held between 1968 and 1971. In 1968 and 1969, it was played exclusively by North Tournament champion and the Northeast Tournament. In 1970, the tournament was played on a quadrangular basis involving four clubs. In 1971 the fourth edition of the tournament was held, but with the start of the Campeonato Brasileiro, which was attended some of the most important Northeast clubs, the 4th edition of the Torneio Norte-Nordeste was renamed Campeonato Nacional Norte-Nordeste (English: National North-Northeast Tournament).
