Divizia A
The Liga I (; ''First League''), also spelled as Liga 1, is a Romanian professional league for men's association football clubs. Currently sponsored by betting company Superbet, it is officially known as the SuperLiga. It is the country's top football competition, being contested by 16 clubs which take part in a promotion and relegation system with the Liga II. The teams play 30 matches each in the regular season, before entering the championship play-offs or the relegation play-outs according to their position in the regular table. The Liga I was established in 1909 and commenced play for the 1909–10 campaign, being currently on the 29th place in UEFA's league coefficient ranking list. It is administered by the Liga Profesionistă de Fotbal, also known by the acronym LPF. Before the 2006–07 season, the competition was known as ''Divizia A'', but the name had to be changed following the finding that someone else had registered that trademark. Bucharest

Ion Gheorghe Ionescu (born 5 April 1938) is a Romanian former Association football, football Forward (association football), striker. Club career Ion Gheorghe Ionescu, nicknamed "Puiu" was born on 5 April 1938 in Bucharest, Romania, growing up in the Cotroceni neighborhood. He made his Liga I, Divizia A debut, playing for FC Rapid București, Rapid București under coach Ion Mihăilescu on 30 October 1960 in a 2–0 loss against CS Minerul Lupeni, Minerul Lupeni. He spent 8 seasons at FC Rapid București, Rapid, making a successful couple in the team's offence with Emil Dumitriu, winning two times the top-goalscorer of Liga I, Divizia A title in the 1962–63 Divizia A, 1962–63 season with 20 goals and in 1965–66 Divizia A, 1965–66 with 24 goals. Florea Voinea
Florea Voinea (born 21 April 1941) is a Romanian retired footballer who played as a striker. Club career Florea Voinea was born on 21 April 1941 in Puchenii Moșneni, Prahova County and started to play football at junior level at Rafinăria 1 Ploiești and Petrolul Ploiești. He started to play at senior level in Divizia B at Prahova Ploiești, after two seasons he returned to Petrolul, where he made his Divizia A debut on 20 August 1961 in a 6–2 away victory against CCA București in which he scored a goal. He went to play for Steaua București where he won the 1967–68 Divizia A, being the team's top-goalscorer with 13 goals scored in 25 matches and he also won five Cupa României, scoring in all the finals, in the last two scoring a double in each. FC Universitatea Craiova
U Craiova 1948, commonly known as FC U Craiova 1948 or FC U Craiova, is a Romanian professional football club based in Craiova, Dolj County, which competes in the Liga I. It is along with CS Universitatea Craiova one of the two entities asserting the history of the original Universitatea Craiova football team, which between 1948 and 1991 won four national titles and five national cups. During the latter year, when the sports club dissolved its football department, ''FC Universitatea Craiova'' took its place in the top flight. Generally considered the same entity with the old club, it continued its tradition for the next two decades, but was reorganised several times and retroactively deemed an unofficial successor. 1967–68 Divizia B
The 1967–68 Divizia B was the 28th season of the second tier of the Romanian football league system. The format has been maintained to two series, each of them having 14 teams. At the end of the season the winners of the series promoted to Liga I, Divizia A. Due to expansion of Divizia A and Divizia B from 14 to 16 teams, also the second places from the series played a promotion play-off, at the end of which the second place from the second series also promoted to Divizia A and last two places from both series played a relegation play-off against second places from Divizia C, at the end of which only one team relegated. 1967–68 Inter-Cities Fairs Cup
The tenth Inter-Cities Fairs Cup was played over the 1967–68 season. The competition was won by Leeds United over two legs in the final against Ferencváros. It was the first English victory in the competition, despite sides from the country having finished as defeated finalists on four previous occasions.
