The 1966 Norwegian Football Cup was the 61st edition of the Norwegian annual knockout football tournament. The Cup was won by Fredrikstad after beating Lyn in the cup final with the score 3–2. This was Fredrikstad's ninth Norwegian Cup title. Football Association Of Norway
The Norwegian Football Federation ( nb, Norges Fotballforbund, nn, Noregs Fotballforbund; NFF) is the governing body of football in Norway. It was formed in 1902 and organises the men's and women's national teams, as well as the league systems for men and women (whose top levels are respectively the Eliteserien and Toppserien). The current president of NFF is Lise Klaveness. By 1 January 2004, there were 1,814 clubs organized in Norway and 373,532 registered players. It is the largest sports federation in Norway. The NFF joined FIFA in 1908, and UEFA in 1954. The NFF was part of an unsuccessful joint bid with the SvFF, the DBU and the SPL to host the UEFA Euro 2008 championship. The SvFF invited the NFF to join them in bidding for the UEFA Euro 2016 championship. FK Vigør is a Norwegian football club from Hellemyr, Kristiansand. ''Vigør'' is the Norwegian name for vigor. The club colors are brown and white, and the club was founded on 5 October 1918. The men's team currently resides in the Third Division, the fourth tier of Norwegian football, having last played in the Second Division in 2000. FK Ørn Horten
Fotballklubben Ørn Horten, formerly Ørn fotballklubb, abbreviated Ørn FK, popularly known as ''De brune'' or ''Ørnane'', was founded on 4 May 1904, and is Horten's largest football club. The club won the Norwegian Cup four times in the 1920s and '30s and played in the top division during the 1950s and '60s.
