Vilim Harangozo
Vilim Harangozo ( hu, Harangozó Vilim, sr-cyr, Вилим Харангозо) was an ethnic Hungarian male former table tennis player from Yugoslavia. Table tennis career From 1951 to 1958 Harangozo won several medals in singles, doubles, and team events in the Table Tennis European Championships and in the World Table Tennis Championships. His four World Championship medals included a gold medal in the doubles at the 1954 World Table Tennis Championships with Žarko Dolinar. He also won three English Open titles. Football Harangozo also played as footballer at FK Spartak Subotica in the Yugoslav First League during the late 1940s. He scored the first ever first league goal of Spartak and it was against giants Red Star Belgrade. He also played with FK Bratstvo Subotica in the 1948–49 season.

Diane Rowe
Diane Schöler (née Rowe on 14 April 1933) is a retired table tennis player from England. In 1966 she married German table tennis player Eberhard Schöler, and since then competed for West Germany. From 1951 to 1972 she won several medals in single, double, and team events in the Table Tennis European Championships, and in the World Table Tennis Championships. Rowe started training in table tennis aged 14, under Viktor Barna. She is left-handed and until 1951 played a defensive style, but later put more accent on attacking. In early 1966, she married Eberhard Schöler and moved to Düsseldorf, where she gave birth to a daughter. She retired from competitions in 1973 and until 1997 worked as a table tennis coach. In 1993 she received the ITTF Merit Award, and in 2001 the Dieter Mauritz Gedächtnispreis. She also won 17 English Open titles. Margaret 'Peggy' Franks (born c.1925) is a former table tennis player from England. Table tennis career From 1947 to 1952 she won ten medals in singles, doubles, and team events in the World Table Tennis Championships. The ten medals included three gold medals; two in team events with England at the 1947 World Table Tennis Championships and 1948 World Table Tennis Championships and one in the women's doubles with Vera Thomas in 1948. Gertrude Pritzi (15 January 1920 - 21 October 1968) was a female international table tennis player from Austria. Table tennis career From 1937 to 1953, she won fourteen medals in singles, doubles and team events in the World Table Tennis Championships. She also won doubles and team medals in the European Table Tennis Championships. The champion of Women's Singles in 1937 was declared vacant due to time limit rule in force at the time. In 2001, it was decided to declare the two players (i.e., Gertrude Pritzi and Ruth Aarons) Co-Champions. She began her table tennis career with the association Badner AC, changed 1936 finally to post office sports association Vienna and 1945 to Austria Vienna. In 1937 and 1938 she won and became generally accepted the Austrian championship thereby against the Trude Wildam prevailing at that time. Ella Zeller
Ella Zeller (married name Ella Constantinescu; born 26 November 1933) is a retired Romanian table tennis player, coach and administrator. From 1952 to 1964 she won several medals in singles, doubles, and team events in the Table Tennis European Championships and in the World Table Tennis Championships. In 1995 she was inducted to the ITTF Hall of Fame. Zeller began training in table tennis in Timișoara and then moved to Bucharest. She graduated from an institute of physical education, and after retiring from competitions worked as a table tennis coach with the national team (1967–1989). She also took leading positions in the national and European tennis table federations and served as President of the National Commission for Women sport. In 1989 she moved to Germany where in 1990–1994 she worked for the German Table Tennis Federation.

Angelica Rozeanu
Angelica Rozeanu (née Adelstein) (15 October 1921 – 21 February 2006) was a Romanian table tennis player of Jewish origin, the most successful female table tennis player in the history of the sport, winning the women's world singles title 6 years in succession. Table tennis career Rozeanu started playing table tennis while recovering from scarlet fever when she was eight. In 1933, at age 12, she won the Romanian Cup. She won the Romanian national championship in 1936 and remained Romania's female champion for the next 21 years (1936–57, excluding World War II). Her first major win was the 1938 Hungarian Open. Her career was interrupted by World War II, as from 1940 to 1944 she was barred from even entering a gymnasium in Romania and was unable to play. Rozeanu won her first World Championship in 1950, starting the winning run that would see her win the championship six years in succession, a feat yet to be matched.
