1948–49 Greek Football Cup
The 1948–49 Greek Football Cup was the seventh edition of the Greek Football Cup. The competition culminated with the Greek Cup Final, replayed at Leoforos Alexandras Stadium, on 3 July 1949, because of the previous match (19 June) draw. The match was contested by AEK Athens and Panathinaikos, with AEK Athens winning by 2–1 after extra time. Keratsini Football Club ( el, Α.Π.Ο. Κερατσίνι) is a Greek football club based in Keratsini, Piraeus, Greece. It plays in Piraeus local championship (EPS Piraeus). History Keratsini was founded in 1926 by Mpiskos and Diatsigkos with the name AO Neapoli, who later became ESKO IE, one of the Union Clubs Keratsini Orfeas. It was one of the four founding clubs of Piraeus FCA. In 1926, the team settled in Keratsini, renamed Athletic Football Club (Keratsini). Levadiakos Football Club ( el, ΠΑΕ Λεβαδειακός) is a Greek professional football club that plays in the Super League Greece. Based in Livadeia, Greece, the club was promoted to the Alpha Ethniki, forerunner of the Super League, after ten seasons in minor divisions in the 2005–06 season, as runner-up of the Football League in 2004–05. It was then relegated to the Beta Ethniki again in 2006–07 and returned to the top tier in 2007–08. Toxotis Larissa (Greek: Π.Α.Ο. Τοξότης Λάρισας) is a football club based in Larissa, Greece. The colour of the club's jerseys are red and white. Apollon Kalamata ( el, Απόλλων Καλαμάτας) is a football (soccer) club in Kalamata, Greece. It currently plays in the Messenia(n) First Division. History The club was founded in 1927. Its colors are white and black and its emblem is a plant. During the prewar period, the players was raised mainly in the royalist part of the population. Along with Prassina Poulia made its important football (soccer) teams in Kalamata. Apollon had distinctly many players.
