1947 Polish Football Championship
The 1947 Polish Football Championship was the 21st edition of the Polish Football Championship and 19th completed season ended with the selection of a winner. It was the last edition of the Polish championship played in a non-league formula, since 1948 the champion of the country was chosen in the league. The champions were Warta Poznań, who won their 2nd Polish title. Competition modus The championship was decided in a series of tournaments. The tournaments started on 30 March 1947 and concluded on 30 November 1947 (spring-autumn system). 28 teams was divided into 3 groups. In each of groups the season was played as a round-robin tournament. A total of 28 teams participated. Each team played a total of matches, half at home and half away, two games against each other team. Teams received two points for a win and one point for a draw. The Polish football champions are the annual winners of Poland's premier annual football competition. The title has been contested since 1920 in varying forms of competition. From 1921 to 1926 the championship was decided in a series of tournaments until the league was formed in 1927. Since then the title was awarded the winners of the highest league in Polish football. KS Lublinianka
KS Lublinianka is a Polish professional football club based in Lublin. It was founded in 1921 as WKS Lublin (Wojskowy Klub Sportowy Lublin, English: Military Sports Club) and was supported by the Lublin garrison of the Polish Army. In 1923 WKS Lublin was renamed to Klub Sportowy Lublinianka. In 1938 the club won the Football Junior Championships of Poland. They spent eleven seasons in the Polish First League and in the 1969–70 season they reached the quarterfinals of the Polish Cup. Lublinianka currently plays in the III liga, group IV. K.S. Garbarnia Kraków is a Polish football and sports club from Ludwinów, a historical district of the city of Kraków.
