1934 Estonian Football Championship
The 1934 Estonian Football Championship was the 14th official football league season in Estonia. Six teams took part in the league five from Tallinn and one from Tartu. Each team played every opponent twice, one at home and once on the road, for total of 10 games. JS Estonia Tallinn won the league for the first time in the club's history. None of the teams were relegated, as the league expanded to eight teams in the next season. JS Estonia Tallinn was an Estonian football club based in Tallinn Tallinn () is the most populous and capital city of Estonia. Situated on a bay in north Estonia, on the shore of the Gulf of Finland of the Baltic Sea, Tallinn has a population of 437,811 (as of 2022) and administratively lies in the Harju '' .... It was founded in November 1930. The board included many ex-footballers and then active players that played for the team, such as Eduard Ellmann-Eelma and Arnold Pihlak. History The club played its first two seasons in Estonian First Division. After the successful promotion in 1932, they played in Estonian Top Division and only lost the title in the last game of the season to Sport Tallinn. But then they won five consecutive league titles from 1934 to 1938/39. They were unbeaten for the first two seasons in that run and even extended it until the middle of the third.
