Paraguay (; ), officially the Republic of Paraguay ( es, República del Paraguay, links=no; gn, Tavakuairetã Paraguái, links=si), is a landlocked country in South America. Emiliano González Navero
Emiliano González Navero (16 June 1861 – 18 October 1934) was a Paraguayan politician of the Liberal Party, he served as President of Paraguay on three occasions and as Vice President of Paraguay on two occasions. His life He was one of the great survivors of the War against Triple Alliance. He attended elementary school at his beloved hometown and high school at the Colegio Nacional de la Capital. He was graduated from Law School at the Universidad Nacional de la Capital. Practiced law in 1887 and then acted in the judicial branch as a judge during the government of Juan Antonio Escurra. He was married to Mrs. Adela Lima, who died on 7 September 1928. Emiliano, retired from any public activity, died at home, very far away from his country, in the United States on 18 October 1934. José Patricio Guggiari
José Patricio Guggiari Corniglione (17 March 1884, in Asunción – 30 October 1957, in Buenos Aires) was a Paraguayan politician by the Partido Liberal Radical Auténtico. He was President of the Republic of Paraguay between 1928 and 1932. In 1931, after a bloody repression against a demonstration calling for a more vigorous action in defense of the Chaco, he left office to be judged by Parliament. Absolved, he regained the presidency. Eusebio Ayala
Eusebio Ayala (August 14, 1875 – June 4, 1942) was an intellectual and statesman, and List of Presidents of Paraguay, President of Paraguay from 7 November 1921 to 12 April 1923 and again from 15 August 1932 to 17 February 1936. He was a member of the Liberal Party (Paraguay), Liberal Party. He was overthrown by Rafael Franco. The vice president of Paraguay is the person with the second highest position in the executive branch of the Paraguayan government, after the president of Paraguay. The position of vice president was created with the Constitution of 1844, although it was the title given to ex officio members temporarily replacing the elected president in case of death or absence, and was not a position elected alongside the president. The Constitution of 1870 established the position with a permanent character, requiring election alongside the president and assigning to it the presidency of the National Congress and the one of the Senate.
