The ''Great Norwegian Encyclopedia'' ( no, Store Norske Leksikon, abbreviated ''SNL''), is a Norwegian-language online encyclopedia. The online encyclopedia is among the most-read Norwegian published sites, with more than two million unique visitors per month. Sølvi Sogner
Sølvi Sogner (15 March 1932 – 23 March 2017) was a Norwegian historian. She was a professor at the University of Oslo from 1988 to 2002. Biography Sogner was born in Trondheim, Norway. She was the daughter of Trygve Bauge (1896-1978) and Sidsel Schulz (1904–97). In 1959, she married fellow historian Bjørn Sogner (1930–1985). Per Høybråten
Per Høybråten (8 March 1932 – 21 December 1990) was a Norwegian politician for the Christian Democratic Party. From 1963 to 1966 he was the chairman of the Youth of the Christian People's Party, the youth wing of the Christian Democratic Party. He served as a deputy representative to the Norwegian Parliament from Oslo during the term 1973–1977. On the local level, Høybråten was a member of Oslo city council from 1967 to 1987, serving as deputy mayor during the terms 1975–1979 and 1979–1983. He chaired the local party chapter from 1981 to 1983. During the cabinet Borten, Høybråten was appointed State Secretary in the Ministry of Social Affairs from 1968. Sigurd Jansen
Sigurd Jansen (born 4 March 1932) is a Norwegian composer, pianist and conductor. Biography Sigurd Alf Jansen was born in Horten, in Vestfold county, Norway. He studied classical music at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo. He was a teacher of piano from 1957 to 1962. Jansen has worked as an orchestra leader at Chat Noir, and as jazz pianist, orchestra leader and arranger on a number of recordings. Since 1957 he has worked in the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation where he is responsible for the music of a variety of TV programs and movies. His main occupation is to compose, arrange, conduct and play piano. Sigurd Jansen is also a composer and has won several awards for his compositions. Kåre Berg
Kåre Ingmar Berg, MD (1 March 1932 – 24 January 2009) was a Norwegian professor in medical genetics, physician-in-chief and well-cited researcher. Education and positions Kåre Berg was born in Hammerfest. He graduated as MD in 1957 and dr.med. in 1964 at the University of Oslo. Kristian Lund (12 February 1932 – 18 April 2012) is a Norwegian military officer, engineer and politician for the Conservative Party. He was born in Furnes as a son of ship captain Arnulf Henrik Lund (1899–1964) and teacher Dagny Finstad (1897–1979). He finished his secondary education in 1950. After graduating from the military communications school ''Befalsskolen for Hærens Samband'' in 1951 he served as an officer here from 1952 to 1956 and 1958 to 1960, only interrupted by engineer studies. Axel Jensen
Axel Buchardt Jensen (12 February 1932 – 13 February 2003) was a Norwegian author. From 1957 until 2002, he published both fiction and non-fiction texts which include novels, poems, essays, a biography, and manuscripts for cartoons and animated films. Biography Jensen was born on 12 February 1932 in Trondheim to Dagny Teodora (née Buchardt, 1908- 2000) and Finn Reidar Jensen (1901-1967).
