Per Høybråten
Per Høybråten (8 March 1932 – 21 December 1990) was a Norwegian politician for the Christian Democratic Party. From 1963 to 1966 he was the chairman of the Youth of the Christian People's Party, the youth wing of the Christian Democratic Party. He served as a deputy representative to the Norwegian Parliament from Oslo during the term 1973–1977. On the local level, Høybråten was a member of Oslo city council from 1967 to 1987, serving as deputy mayor during the terms 1975–1979 and 1979–1983. He chaired the local party chapter from 1981 to 1983. During the cabinet Borten, Høybråten was appointed State Secretary in the Ministry of Social Affairs from 1968. During the cabinet Korvald from 1971 to 1972, Høybråten again became State Secretary, this time at the Office of the Prime Minister. He was born in Nesodden. Nesodden is a municipality in Akershus in Viken county, Norway. It is part of the traditional region of Follo. The administrative centre of the municipality is Nesoddtangen. The parish of ''Næsodden'' was established as a municipality on 1 January 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt). The new municipality of Oppegård was separated from Nesodden on 1 July 1915. The Norwegian Association of Local and Regional Authorities ( no, KS) is an employers' organisation in Norway. It was founded in 1972 as a merger between the Union of Norwegian Cities (''Norges Byforbund'', founded in 1903) and the Norwegian Association of Rural Municipalities (''Norges Herredsforbund'', founded in 1923). The two entities were also merged between 1942 and 1945, during the German occupation of Norway. Dagfinn Høybråten (born 2 December 1957) is a Norwegian politician. He was the leader of the Christian Democratic Party 2004–2011. He was also Parliamentary leader from 2005 when he was elected as Member of Parliament representing Rogaland. He was Vice President of the Norwegian Parliament from 2011 to 2013. He was President of the Nordic Council in 2007. Høybråten was granted leave from his duty as Member of Parliament from March 2013 to take up the position as Secretary General of the Nordic Council of Ministers.
