1927–28 KBUs Mesterskabsrække
The 1927–28 KBUs Mesterskabsrække was the 40th season of the Copenhagen Series, Copenhagen Football Championship since its establishment in 1889, and the 26th under the administration of DBU Copenhagen, Kjøbenhavns Boldspil-Union (KBU). The season was launched on 21 August 1927 with a match between Boldklubben Fremad Amager, BK Fremad Amager and Boldklubben af 1893, B.93 at Københavns Idrætspark and concluded on 9 May 1928 with the final match of the regular league fixtures, with the play-off promotion/relegation match being held on 4 July 1928. Boldklubben af 1893, B.93, playing in white shirts, started as the defending league champions from the 1926–27 KBUs Mesterskabsrække, 1926–27 KBUs season. The Copenhagen FA first-tier league ran simultaneously with the inaugural edition of the 1927–28 Danmarksmesterskabsturneringen, 1927–28 Danmarksmesterskabsturneringen i Fodbold, in which all of the league's teams participated. Copenhagen Series
Copenhagen Series for men ( da, Københavnsserien for Herrer; Herre Københavnsserien), unofficially also known as Københavnerserien and often shortened to KS serien and KS Herre, is the highest division for men organised by the regional football association DBU København (DBUK) and one of the sixth-highest divisions overall in the Danish football league system. The league, deciding the Copenhagen Football Championship ( da, Københavnsmesterskabet i fodbold), was introduced as a tournament exclusively for amateur clubs located in Copenhagen beginning with the 1889–90 season under the auspices of the Danish Football Association (DBU). With the formation of a regional association for the Copenhagen area in 1903, the administration of the league was handed over to the newly founded Københavns Boldspil-Union (KBU).
