1926–27 Seconda Divisione
The 1926–27 Seconda Divisione was the first edition of a sub-national third level tournament within the Italian football championship. In 1926 the ''”Viareggio Charter”'' submitted the Italian football's organization to the fascist regime. The 60 best clubs of the country joined the two new national championships, while the third level became the Seconda Divisione on sub-national bases. Clubs leagues were disbanded and substituted by some Authorities appointed by the fascists. Regulations The ''” Northern Lower Divisions Directory”'', which had its headquarters in Genoa, created a copy of the higher championship, the Prima Divisione. It was composed of three groups of ten clubs, a total of 30 teams. The winners of any group of the Northern Authority were promoted, while the last two teams should be relegated. Seconda Divisione
Seconda Divisione (''Second Division'') was the name of the second level of the Italian Football Championship from 1921 to 1926. The competition was initially founded in opposition to the FIGC by the clubs of Northern Italy, which disagreed the old format of the championship, based on plethoric regional groups. In 1921–22, two concurrent championships took place, before FIGC accepted the new format for 1922–23. History Northern League The Seconda Divisione was formed by the clubs of the former Prima Categoria of the Lega Nord (''Northern League'') which did not enter into the new Prima Divisione. The Lega Sud (''Southern League'') had its own Seconda Divisione too, but it was simply the old Promozione which changed its name. 1925–26 Lega Sud
The Southern League was the amatorial football championship in Southern Italy during the 20's of the 20th century. The 1925–26 season was organized within the Italian Football Federation. The winner had the honor to play against the Northern Champions. The League maintained the goal to improve the quality of the game in the area. However, the League’s plan to abolish the regional tournaments was boycotted by the Roman and Apulia teams. After a year of different protests, the League collapsed under its internal tensions, and it was disbanded by the fascists which promoted three clubs to the new Divisione Nazionale white the other teams were forced into a new inter-regional championship. Ternana
Ternana Calcio, commonly referred to as Ternana, is an Italian football club based in Terni, Umbria. The club was founded in 1925 and refounded in 1993. In its history, Ternana has twice played in Serie A (in the 1972–73 and 1974–75 seasons) and 28 times in Serie B, where it will play during the 2021–22 season, having earned promotion from Serie C the season before. Fiumana
Unione Sportiva Fiumana or U.S. Fiumana was an Italian football club based in the present-day Croatian city of Rijeka and the predecessor of HNK Rijeka. The club was active between 1926 and 1945, at the time when the city was part of the Kingdom of Italy and was commonly referred to by its Italian name ''Fiume''. L.R. Vicenza, commonly referred to as Vicenza, is an Football in Italy, Italian football club based in Vicenza, Veneto. Founded in 1902 as Associazione del Calcio in Vicenza, they became Lanerossi Vicenza in 1953, then Vicenza Calcio from 1990 to 2018, a year which saw the club going bankrupt and being put under controlled administration in order to preserve the Serie C spot at the end of the 2017–18 season. Fanfulla
Luigi Visconti, better known by his stage name Fanfulla, (26 February 1913 – 5 January 1971) was an Italian actor and comedian. Life and career Born in Rome, Visconti debuted at very young age on stage alongside his mother, the actress Mercedes Menolesi (best known as "Diavolina"). From the mid-forties to the late fifties, he adopted the stage name Fanfulla and was a popular comedian of cabaret and avanspettacolo shows, acclaimed for his brilliant style, referred to as "The King of Avanspettacolo" and even paired with Ettore Petrolini. His career was relaunched by Federico Fellini, who chose him for the role of Vernacchio in ''Fellini Satyricon'', a role that gave Fanfulla a Nastro d'Argento for best supporting actor.
