SC Vila Real
Sport Clube Vila Real ''(abbreviated as SC Vila Real )'' is a Portuguese football club based in Vila Real in the district of Vila Real. Background SC Vila Real currently plays in the Terceira Divisão Série B which is the fourth tier of Portuguese football. The club was founded in 1920 and they play their home matches at the Complexo Desportivo Monte Da Forca in Vila Real. The stadium is able to accommodate 5,500 spectators. The closest they ever came to play in Primeira Divisão/Liga was in 1944, when they won the Segunda Divisão Norte regional division but lost the Segunda Divisão Grand Final 2–3 to Estoril. António Maria Baptista
António Maria Baptista (; 5 January 1866 – 6 June 1920) was a Portuguese military officer and politician.Pedro Figueiredo Leal, Manuel Baiôa''António Maria Baptista: O bejense que chefiou o Governo.''In: ''Diario do Alentejo,'' March 11, 2020 (Portuguese). When he was lieutenant, he fought in Portuguese Mozambique, during the wars of pacification against the Vátuas, led by Gungunhana. He was promoted to colonel in 1917. He fought the monarchist uprising of 1919, and was nominated Minister of War in the same year. He, then, distinguished himself during a series of violent strikes, and a year later was nominated and became President of the Ministry (Prime Minister), on 8 March 1920. He died suddenly while in office, after a Council of Ministers reunion, on 6 June 1920. Miguel Lourenço (footballer, Born 1920)
Miguel Lourenço (born 7 February 1920, date of death unknown) was a Portuguese footballer who played as an outside forward. Club career Lourenço joined S.L. Benfica in 1939, going on to serve as back-up to both Alfredo Valadas and Guilherme Espírito Santo during his spell. He made his debut on 22 October 1939 in a 6–1 trashing of Carcavelinhos FC for the Campeonato de Lisboa, scoring his team's fourth goal on the 63rd minute. He would only reappear on 4 February 1940, when he took the place of Espírito Santo in a match against Leixões S.C. for the Primeira Divisão; despite failing to win the league, he helped the club conquer the Taça de Portugal and the Lisbon Championship, netting ten times in the process. For the following season, 20-year old Lourenço played the majority of its games in the Portuguese Cup, featuring in just 12 matches and scoring six goals as Benfica failed to win any silverware.
