Christian X Of Denmark
Christian X ( da, Christian Carl Frederik Albert Alexander Vilhelm; 26 September 1870 – 20 April 1947) was King of Denmark from 1912 to his death in 1947, and the only King of Iceland as Kristján X, in the form of a personal union rather than a real union between 1918 and 1944. He was a member of the House of Glücksburg, a branch of the House of Oldenburg, and the first monarch since King Frederick VII born into the Danish royal family; both his father and his grandfather were born as princes of a ducal family from Schleswig. Among his siblings was King Haakon VII of Norway. His son became Frederick IX of Denmark. His character has been described as authoritarian and he strongly stressed the importance of royal dignity and power. His reluctance to fully embrace democracy resulted in the Easter Crisis of 1920, in which he dismissed the democratically elected Social Liberal cabinet with which he disagreed, and installed one of his own choosing. Fanny Suenssen
Fanny Margrethe Kirstine Suenssen (1832–1918) was a Danish writer. Brought up by a mother interested in literature, like her sisters Alfhilda Mechlenburg and Teckla Juel, she contributed articles to women's magazines and published novels and short stories. Although she suffered from poor health throughout her life and was often bed-ridden, she nevertheless completed her first novel ''Amalie Vardum'' in 1862. She published anonymously until the 1890s when she put her name to two collections of short stories. Biography Born in Tønning in southern Jutland on 14 October 1832, Fanny Margrethe Kirstine Suenssen was the second daughter of Captain Johan Fedder Carsten Suenssen (1795–1840) and his wife Margaret née Juel. She was brought up by a mother deeply interested in literature with two sisters who also became writers. The prime minister of Denmark ( da, Danmarks statsminister, fo, Forsætisráðharri, kl, Ministeriuneq) is the head of government in the Kingdom of Denmark comprising the three constituent countries: Denmark, Greenland and the Faroe Islands. Before the creation of the modern office, the kingdom did not initially have a head of government separate from its head of state, namely the monarch, in whom the executive authority was vested. Johan Henrik Deuntzer
Johan Henrik Deuntzer (20 May 1845 – 16 November 1918) was a Danish professor and politician who served as a member of the Liberal '' Venstre'' party until 1905 where he joined the Danish Social Liberal Party. He was Council President and Foreign Minister of Denmark from 1901 to 1905 as the leader of the Cabinet of Deuntzer. Rogert Møller
Rogert Møller (6 December 1844 – 26 August 1918) was a Danish architect and credit union manager. He was as an architect mainly active in the Vesterbro district of Copenhagen, designing many residential buildings during the population boom of the late 19th century. He worked for from 1876 and served as chief technical officer from 1904. Early life and career Møller was born on 6 December 1844 in Hørsholm, the son of merchant and later innkeeper Jacob Møller (1803–1857) and Mariane Cathrine Schaltz (c. 1808–1849). His mother died when he was five years old and his father was subsequently married a second time to Ernestine Wilhelmine Wegner in 1852. Møller enrolled at the Artillery School at the age of 14 and continued his education at Elekskolen at Frederiksberg Palace. He then joined the Topographic General Staff's Department as an aspirant and was appointed as a guide in 1864.
