1915 Norwegian Football Cup
The 1915 Norwegian Football Cup was the 14th season of the Norwegian annual knockout football tournament. The tournament was open for 1915 local association leagues (kretsserier) champions. Norwegian Football Association
The Norwegian Football Federation ( nb, Norges Fotballforbund, nn, Noregs Fotballforbund; NFF) is the governing body of football in Norway. It was formed in 1902 and organises the men's and women's national teams, as well as the league systems for men and women (whose top levels are respectively the Eliteserien and Toppserien). The current president of NFF is Lise Klaveness. By 1 January 2004, there were 1,814 clubs organized in Norway and 373,532 registered players. It is the largest sports federation in Norway. The NFF joined FIFA in 1908, and UEFA in 1954. The NFF was part of an unsuccessful joint bid with the SvFF, the DBU and the SPL to host the UEFA Euro 2008 championship. The SvFF invited the NFF to join them in bidding for the UEFA Euro 2016 championship. Strømmen IF
Strømmen Idrettsforening is a Norwegian sports club from Strømmen. It has sections for football, athletics and gymnastics, and formerly had sections for bandy, orienteering, skiing, speed skating, swimming among other sports. History The club was founded on 25 September 1911 as ''Strømmen FK''. The name was changed to ''FK Norrøna'' in 1914. In 1923 the club merged with ''Strømmen IL'' and took the name ''IL Norrøna''. In 1935 it incorporated the club ''Strømmen BK'', founded in the 1920s, and reverted its name back to ''Strømmen FK''. Per Skou
Per Skou (20 May 1891 – 24 February 1962) was a Norwegian footballer, sports official and businessperson. He was born in Skien. He played left back for Odd and Lyn, and became Norwegian cup champion three times – with Lyn in 1911 and with Odd in 1913 and 1915. He was capped 41 times for the Norwegian national team. Otto Wilhelm Aulie (27 September 1894 – 9 February 1923) was a Norwegian football defender. Aulie was born in Tønsberg. He was a right-back for Odd and Lyn, and was a Norwegian Football Cup winner with Odd in 1913 and 1915. Skeid Fotball
Skeid is a Norwegian football club from Oslo that currently plays in 1. divisjon ( OBOS-ligaen), the second tier of the Norwegian football league system. Its current home field is Nordre Åsen, after the club stopped playing at Bislett after the 2012 season. In past decades it has gained a reputation as a talent factory for the larger clubs in Norwegian football, and it has produced several players for the national team such as Daniel Braaten, Daniel Fredheim Holm, Omar Elabdellaoui and Mohammed Abdellaoue. Peder Christian Andersen
Peder Christian Andersen, often shortened to P. Chr. Andersen (5 April 1892 – 12 March 1964) was a Norwegian sports official and journalist. He was born in Sagene as a son of a weaver. He finished middle school in 1909, and was employed in the magazine ''Sport''. His most notable assignment here was reporting from the 1912 Summer Olympics, the stay at which he paid himself. He was hired in the labour movement newspaper ''Social-Demokraten'' as a sports journalist. He left for political reasons in 1919 and was hired in ''Aftenposten''. He was promoted to sub-editor in 1925 and news editor in 1945. He retired in 1963. He is known for recruiting Sverre Mitsem to write the satirical column "SORRY e. Trollhaugens Tass" for ''Aftenposten''. Mitsem did so from 1946 to 1996. Andersen also founded, published and edited the magazine ''Idrettsliv'' from 1915 to 1928. Sarpsborg ( or ), historically Borg, is a city and municipality in Viken county, Norway. The administrative centre of the municipality is the city of Sarpsborg. Sarpsborg Stadion
The Sarpsborg Stadion is a football stadium in Sarpsborg, Norway. It is the home ground of Eliteserien club Sarpsborg 08. The former multi-use venue hosted the Norwegian Athletics Championships in 1954 and 1960. The venue hosted one Norway national under-21 football team match, where Norway lost 1–3 against Sweden on 3 October 1972. The stadium has been repeatedly modernised in recent years; a modernisation which began in 2000, when a new main stand were built. In 2009, new floodlights were installed and the grass pitch was replaced with an artificial turf. New stands were built in both the south and north end of the pitch between 2010 and 2016. Sarpsborg 08's success in the 2018–19 UEFA Europa League led to further upgrades and improvements. Einar "Jeja" Gundersen (20 September 1896 – 29 October 1962) was a Norwegian footballer who played play as a centre-forward for Odd. He is regarded as one of Norwegian football's first star players. He played 33 internationals for Norway, and his 26 international goals puts him second on the national team's all-time scoring list.
