The 1913 Copa del Rey Final (FEF) was the 13th final of the Spanish cup competition, the Copa del Rey. The final was played at Estadio O'Donnell in Madrid on 22 March 1913. The match ended in a 2–2 draw, after extra-time, forcing a replay that was played the next day, which saw Racing de Irún beat Athletic Bilbao 1-0, with a goal from Manuel Retegui. 1913 Copa Del Rey
The 1913 Copa del Rey comprised two different competitions held the same year. Due to disagreements between the Royal Spanish Football Federation ( es, Real Federación Española de Fútbol, RFEF) and some clubs, in 1913 two parallel competitions were held: an "official", organized by the FEF (Federación Española de Fútbol), in Madrid and an "unofficial", organized by the UECF (Unión Española de Clubes de Fútbol), in Barcelona. Both are currently recognized as official by the RFEF. Ramón Belauste
Ramón Belausteguigoitia Landaluce (27 October 1891 - 1 January 1981), also known as Belauste II, was a Spanish footballer who played as a forward. He spent all of his playing career with Athletic Bilbao, thus being a historical member of the club and part of the so-called one-club men group. He played a pivotal role in the club's three back-to-back Copa del Rey titles between 1914 and 1916. His brother, José María Belauste, was also a footballer. Club career Born to a wealthy family that was native to Llodio, Ramón was the ninth of the twelve children (eight men and four women) of the marriage formed by Federico and Dolores. The term Basque derbies refers to the various local derbies between the football teams based in the Basque Country (autonomous community), Spain. This can also include the province of Navarre outside of the autonomous community. It specifically refers to individual matches between the teams, but can also be used to describe the general ongoing rivalry between the clubs and fans. Background As of the 2021–22 season, there are three clubs in La Liga that play in the Basque Country area. 1910 FEF Copa Del Rey Final
The 1910 Copa del Rey Final (FECF) was the 9th final of the Spanish cup competition, the Copa del Rey (although technically there was no final, with the tournament being played as a mini-group of three teams). It was one of two rival Cup competitions played in that year due to disagreements between the reigning champion of the tournament, Club Ciclista de San Sebastián, and some of the clubs invited. The final was played at Tiro del Pichón in Madrid on 26 May 1910. The match was contested by FC Barcelona and Español de Madrid. The latter netted twice in the opening 15 minutes thanks to a brace from Vicente Buylla, thus leading the match 0–2 down at the break, but Barça fought back and scored three goals in the second half to complete a great emotional comeback, thus lifting the trophy for the first time with a 3–2 victory. Severino Zuazo
Severino Zuazo Ugalde (19 May 1889 - 20 July 1980) was a Spanish footballer who played as a forward for Athletic Club. He spent his whole career at Athletic, which makes him one of the first footballers to play for Athletic for his entire career, and thus to be part of the so-called one-club men group. Biography Born in Bilbao, he began to play football in 1908 at his hometown club Athletic Club. Zuazo played a pivotal role in helping the club win a North Regional Championship in 1914 and three Copa del Reys in 1910, 1911 and 1914. He was one of the most outstanding players in the latter edition, being its top scorer with a total of 5 goals, including both in a 2–1 win over España FC in the final. José María Belauste
José María de Belausteguigoitia Landaluce (3 September 1889 – 4 September 1964), known as Belauste, was a Spanish footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Born in Bilbao, Biscay, Belauste played with Athletic Bilbao from ages 15–36. His game was based on a physical display, as he stood at 1.93 meters and weighed 95 kilograms. He made his debut for his only club on 4 April 1909 in a 2–4 loss against Club Ciclista de San Sebastián, and won six Copa del Rey trophies during his tenure. International career Belauste won three caps for Spain, representing the nation at the 1920 Summer Olympics in Belgium and helping it win silver, as captain.
