Pierre-Joseph Destrebecq
Pierre-Joseph Destrebecq (18 June 1881 – 7 December 1945) was a Belgian international football player. He played as striker in Union Saint-Gilloise, Racing Club de Bruxelles and Royal Sporting Club Anderlecht. With the national side, he also played the first official match of the Belgium national team against France on 1 May 1904. The encounter resulted in a 3–3 draw and Destrebecq scored once in this match. He scored 30 goals in 81 first division games. Daring Club De Bruxelles
Royal Daring Club Molenbeek was a football team from the city of Brussels, Belgium until 1973. It was created in 1895 as Daring Club de Bruxelles and was the second club to register to the Belgian Football Association (it thus received the ''matricule'' n°2), but it was admitted to the league only in 1903. History Daring Brussels were formed in 1895 and after absorbing other local clubs in 1920 they became Royal Daring Club Molenbeek. It had to wait until 1936 to come back at the top and win its fourth championship, and the fifth came a year later. In 1938, it finished 2nd. The next season saw a poor performance by Daring to finish 13th (forelast). The club was relegated just before the competition was stopped because of World War II. The team changed its name to Royal Daring Club de Bruxelles in 1950. Racing Club De Bruxelles
Koninklijke Football Club Rhodienne-De Hoek is a Belgian association football club based in Sint-Genesius-Rode, Flemish Brabant. The club was created in 1894 as Racing Football Club. It became a member of the Royal Belgian Football Association in 1895 as Racing Club de Bruxelles and later received the matricule n°6. It took part in the first Belgian league the same year and won 6 titles and 1 cup until the First World War. Then, the club declined, and in 1963, it merged with White Star Woluwé A.C. to avoid bankruptcy. The new club was then called Royal Racing White. It was decided that this club would keep the matricule N°47 of White Star Woluwé. Thus to avoid that the matricule n°6 of Royal Racing Club de Bruxelles (as it was named since 1921) was erased, the club exchanged its matricule with that of K. Sport Sint-Genesius-Rode. Belgian League
The Belgian Pro League,(officially the Jupiler Pro League due to sponsorship reasons with Jupiler), is the top league competition for association football clubs in Belgium. Contested by 18 clubs since the 2020–21 season and reduced to 16 teams from the 2023–24 season onwards, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Challenger Pro League. Seasons run from early August to late April, with teams playing 34 matches each in the regular season, and then entering Play-offs I (also known as the ''Championship Playoff'', ''title playoffs'' or ''Champions' play-offs'') or Play-offs II (also known as the ''Europa League playoff'' or ''Europe play-offs'') according to their position in the regular season. Camille Van Hoorden
Camille Van Hoorden (15 February 1879 – 31 July 1919) was a Belgian footballer and coach. He was part of the Belgian team (Université de Bruxelles), which won the bronze medal at the exhibition tournament at the Olympic Games in Paris in 1900, listed in the Official Report as C. Van Hoorden. He won 24 caps for the Belgian team between 1904 and 1912. He was captain 11 times, and took part in the Belgium–France game of 1904, the first official game played by the two national teams. At club level, he played for Sporting Club de Bruxelles and Union F.C. d'Ixelles in the 1895–96 season and for Racing Club de Bruxelles between 1896 and 1914. He scored 16 goals from 204 matches.
