1903 Campeonato De Madrid
The 1903 Campeonato de Madrid ( was the 1st staging of the Regional Championship of Madrid, formed to designate the champion of the region. It was organized by the recently established Madrid Football Federation, and the different football teams that made up the downtown area were invited to participate in what was the first official football competition in the capital. The competition was held at the Hipódromo de la Castellana between 15 November and its last match was played on 27 December, although there were two further matches scheduled for January which never were held. The tournament was won by Moderno FC, narrowly beating Madrid FC (currently Real Madrid) by just one point. Moncloa Football Club
The Moncloa Football Club was a football team based in Madrid, Spain, which was founded in April 1902 and dissolved in 1907 after being absorbed by Madrid FC. Moncloa FC was only the third football club to have been founded in the Spanish capital, and together with Madrid FC, it was the only team who participated in the first three editions of the Centro championship, achieving two back-to-back runner-up finishes in 1903–04 and 1904–05, losing the respective finals to Español de Madrid and Madrid FC. Despite its early success, however, the club was subjected to an early disappearance in 1907. The 1900–01 Copa Macaya was the 1st staging of the Copa Macaya. This tournament is best known for being the very first football competition played on the Iberian Peninsula. The competition was held on the road between 20 January 1901 and ended on 14 April, and it was won by Hispania AC, narrowly beating FC Barcelona by just two points. Overview In December 1900, Alfonso Macaya, the then president of Hispania AC, offered a trophy (the Copa Macaya) to the winners of a tournament played on the road featuring six teams from Catalonia: FC Barcelona (1899), Hispania AC (1900), Club Tarragona, Sociedad Franco-Española (1900), Club Espanyol (now RCD Espanyol), and SD Santanach (1900). 1903 Copa Del Rey
The Copa del Rey 1903 was the first official staging of the Copa del Rey, the Spanish football cup competition. It followed the 1902 Copa de la Coronación, held to celebrate the coronation of King Alfonso XIII of Spain, which was won by Club Vizcaya de Bilbao (a temporary combination of Bilbao Football Club and Athletic Bilbao) and given to them permanently. Adolfo Lamberto Wandosell Calvache (14 April 1884 – 14 October 1955) was a Spanish footballer who played as a defender and later as a forward. Federico Revuelto
Federico Revuelto (born 1883) was a Guatemalan footballer who played for the Madrid Football Club from 1902 to 1912. Biography Federico Revuelto was born in Cuyotenango, Suchitepéquez, Guatemala in 1883. Revuelto initially started playing rugby football in England. He then switched to association football and joined the newly formed Madrid Football Club in 1902 at the age of 19, playing as a left-center forward. From 1903 to 1904, Revuelto served as the club's captain. He played in the 1903, 1905, 1906, 1907, and 1908 Copa del Rey finals, winning the latter four and scoring the first goal of the 1908 final. He served as interim president of Madrid FC in 1913. Revuelto is listed in Real Madrid's "hall of fame" in the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.
