Mogens Koch
Mogens Koch (2 March 1898 – 16 September 1992) was a Danish architect and furniture designer and, from 1950 to 1968, a professor at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. Early life and education Mogens Koch was Koch in the Frederiksberg district of Copenhagen. He attended the architecture school at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, and between 1925 and 1932 worked for Carl Petersen, Ivar Bentsen and Kaare Klint, where he was trained in the Danish functional tradition. Career and designs As a furniture designer Mogens Koch is known for the Folding Chair (1932), the Wing Chair No. 50 and the Armchair No. 51 in mahogany and leather (1936) and the Book Case (1928). Prior to teaching at the Royal Academy, Koch had the good fortune to be a student of noted architect and Professor Kaare Klint. Arent Nicolai Dragsted
Arent Nicolai Dragsted (9 June 182115 August 1898) was a Denmark, Danish goldsmith based in Copenhagen who was granted the predicate List of Purveyors to the Court of Denmark, Purveyor to the Court of Denmark shortly before his death. His company, A. Dragsted, still exists today. Dragsted created the golden horn that was presented to Bernhard Severin Ingemann by Danish women on the occasion of his 75 years birthday. The horn is now on display in the Danish Museum of National History at Frederiksborg Castle in Hillerød. He has also created the golden wreath for Frederick VII of Denmark, Frederick VIIøs sarcofague in Roskilde Cathedral. Early life and education Dragsted was born in 1821 in Kerteminde on Funen, the son of Mathias Nicolai Dragsted (1790-1873) and Frandsine Dragsted née Roed (1697-1867). Carl Hansen (footballer)
Carl Vilhelm "Skoma'r" Hansen, simply known as Carl "Skoma'r" (17 May 1898 – 19 May 1978), was a Danish association football player and coach. He played in the forward position, and won the Danish championship with Boldklubben 1903 before moving abroad to play for Scottish club Rangers F.C. as the first professional player in Danish football history. With Rangers, he won four Scottish championships. Hansen played seven games and scored three goals for the Denmark national football team, and was a part of the Denmark team at the 1920 Summer Olympics. As a coach, he managed a number of Danish teams and won the Danish championship with AB. Skoma'r was a nickname he got after his father's profession as a shoemaker (da:''Skomager''), and he was most commonly known in Denmark as Carl Skoma'r.
