Viktor Rydberg
Abraham Viktor Rydberg (; 18 December 182821 September 1895) was a Swedish writer and a member of the Swedish Academy, 1877–1895. "Primarily a classical idealist", Viktor Rydberg has been described as "Sweden's last Romantic" and by 1859 was "generally regarded in the first rank of Swedish novelists." Biography Viktor Rydberg was of humble parentage. One biographer notes that: "He had a hard struggle to satisfy the thirst for learning which was a leading passion of his life, but he finally attained distinction in several fields of scholarship." He was the son of a soldier turned prison guard, Johan Rydberg, and a midwife, Hedvig Düker. Viktor Rydberg had two brothers and three sisters. In 1834 his mother died during a cholera epidemic. Charlotte Seuerling
Charlotta Antonia "Charlotte Antoinette" Seuerling (1782/1784 – 25 September 1828), was a blind Swedish concert singer, harpsichordist, composer and poet, known as "The Blind Song-Maiden". She was active in Sweden, Finland and Russia. Her last name is also spelled as ''Seijerling'' and ''Seyerling''. Her first name was Charlotta Antoinetta (or Antonia), but in the French fashion of the time, she was often called Charlotte Antoinette. She was the author of the popular song "". Euphrosyne Löf
Euphrosyne (Euphrosina) Löf (Stockholm, 1772 – Stockholm, 1 July 1828) was a Swedish ballet dancer and stage actress, best known for her affair with Prince Frederick Adolf of Sweden from 1795 to 1800, after his relationship with Sophie Hagman. Euphrosyne Löf acted as his hostess at Tullgarn. Helena Charlotta Åkerhielm
Helena Charlotta Åkerhielm née af Ugglas (1786- 7 April 1828) was a Swedish dramatist and translator. She was the daughter of count Samuel af Ugglas and Carolina Wittfoth and married baron Gustaf Fredrik Åkerhielm (1776-1853) in 1807. Her spouse was director of the Royal Dramatic Theatre in 1818-23, and like him, she was genuinely interested in the dramatic art and active as a playwright and translator there. She co-wrote the tragedy ''Engelbrekt'' in collaboration with her spouse, which was staged at the Royal Dramatic theatre in 1820; the play was successful and was played at the theatre seventeen times until 1841. She also translated the plays ''Värdshuset, eller det lyckliga äventyret'' (1819), ''De begge svartsjuke'' (1820) and ''Maria Stuart'' (1820), all of them from French, which were all staged with good critique on the royal theatre. Elisabeth Olin née ''Lillström'' (December 1740 – 26 March 1828) was a Swedish opera singer and a music composer. She performed the leading female role in the inauguration performance of the Royal Swedish Opera in 1773, and is referred to as the first Swedish opera prima donna. She was the first female to be made '' Hovsångerska'' (1773), and the first woman to become a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Music (1782).
