Ole Rødder (1743–1806) was Norwegian violinist. He became the first paid musician of Bergen's '' Musikselskabet Harmonien'' in 1783, serving as concertmaster of the orchestra, which later became the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra. Jacob Tostrup
Jacob Ulrich Holfeldt Tostrup (1 July 1806 – 31 January 1890) was a Norwegian jeweler, goldsmith and silversmith. Biography Tostrup was born at Hjelmeland, in Rogaland county, Norway. He was the son of infantry captain Nicolay Tostrup (1768–1858) and his wife Thale Margrethe Resen Holfeldt (1779–1860). He was born into a family with eight siblings. Around 13 years of age, he worked for a local silversmith. He started as a goldsmith apprentice in Bergen between 1823 and 1828. He then had short stays in St. Petersburg and Copenhagen. He received his journeyman's certificate in 1828. He then moved to Oslo, Christiania (now Oslo) and acquired burghership in 1832. In 1832, he founded the jewelers firm ''J. Tostrup'', gradually expanding his business with more production equipment and better localities. Tostrup held several positions in the goldsmith's guild and artisan associations. Hans Severin Arentz (15 November 1806 – 13 February 1875) was a Norwegian politician. He was born in Farsund to Jens Christian Arentz (1763–1828) and his wife Anne Elisabeth (1775–1851), née Urbye. He later moved to Skien, and married 8 October 1838 to Margrethe Cathrine Stockmann (born 19 November 1806). The couple had two children. Arentz served as mayor of Skien from 1840 to 1842, 1845 to 1847, 1848 to 1850 and 1851 to 1860. He was elected to the Parliament of Norway
