Margrethe Schall
Anna Margrethe Schall, (17 September 1775 – 24 November 1852), was a Danish ballerina. She was one of the most notable ballet dancers in Denmark. Early life and education Margrethe Schall was the daughter of the sailor Rasmus Schleuther and Anna Kirstine Mortensdatter. She became a student in the theatre school of Det Kongelige Teater in Copenhagen in 1787. Career She became a star of the Danish ballet of Vincenzo Galleotti. Jonas Haas
Jonas Haas (1720 – 10 April 1775) was a German-born Danish engraver. Haas was born in Nuremberg in 1720. After spending several years working in Hamburg, he moved to Copenhagen with several other of his fellow artists. Some of these included: Johan Martin Preisler and Carl Marcus Tuscher. In 1755, Haas was appointed official engraver for the University of Copenhagen. In addition to a large amount of small portraits of contemporary and deceased people (including 15 Zealand bishops), he produced works for ''The Danish Atlas'' and vignettes of Frederic Louis Norden's travels. In Hamburg, he had married Anna Rosine Fritsch, the daughter of an acquaintance engraver. They had four children. Christian Ditlev Reventlow (1710–1775)
Christian Ditlev, Count of Reventlow (10 March 1710 – 30 March 1775) was a Danish Privy Councillor, nobleman and estate owner. Reventlow was the third son of Christian Ditlev Reventlow and his wife Benedicte Margrethe von Brockdorff; as such, he was born into a family of significant influence and wealth. His father, an officer and diplomat, had close familial ties to the Danish royal family and had been betrothed to , illegitimate daughter of King Christian V of Denmark, who died young. Furthermore, his paternal aunt was Anne Sophie Reventlow, morganatic wife of King Frederik IV of Denmark, and later Queen of Denmark. Despite his position, Reventlow devoted his life to his family and the maintenance of his estates, showing very little interest in life at court. Jacob Peter Mynster
Jacob Peter Mynster (8 November 1775 – 30 January 1854) was a Danish theologian and clergy member of the Church of Denmark. He served as Bishop of the Diocese of Zealand from 1834 until his death. Mynster was notably used as an exemplar of conservative religion by Søren Kierkegaard in his book ''Attack Upon Christendom.'' Early life and education Mynster was born on 8 November 1775 in Copenhagen. His father, Christian Gudzon Peter Mynster, was a Chamber Councillor (''kammerråd'') and inspector at Frederiks Hospital. His mother was named Frederica Christiane Nicoline (née Ring). His father died in 1777 of tuberculosis, and his mother was remarried to Frederik Ludvig Bang, a doctor who was superintendent of the same hospital as her first husband. Mynster's mother died shortly thereafter of tuberculosis in 1779, and he and his brother Ole Hieronymus Mynster, who was three years his senior, were then brought up their stepfather. Christian Adolph Diriks
Christian Adolph Diriks (1 November 1775 – 16 December 1837) was a Norwegian lawyer and statesman. He served as a representative at the Norwegian Constitutional Assembly in 1814. Biography Christian Adolph Diriks was born in Copenhagen, Denmark. He was the son of maritime captain Boye Boyesen Dyriks (1744–80) and Marie Elisabeth Stoppel (d. 1797). After studying law at the University of Copenhagen, he earned his cand. jur. in 1795. He worked for some years in the city court of Copenhagen. In 1806, Diriks was appointed Assessor in Kristiansand. In 1812, he was made Director of the Justice Court ( ''Justisråd'') for Laurvig (now Larvik). Diriks was Magistrate in Laurvig and Judge from 1812 to 1815. It was from Laurvig that he was elected to the Constitutional Assembly. Kamma Rahbek
Karen Margrethe "Kamma" Rahbek, née ''Heger'' (19 October 1775 – 21 January 1829) was a Danish writer, salonist and lady of letters. Biography Karen Margrethe Rahbek was born in Copenhagen, Denmark. She was the daughter of the official Hans Heger (1747–1819) and Anne Louise Drewsen (1751–1799). She grew up in a wealthy home in Nørregade. She received a broad based education and could speak several languages including German, French, Spanish, Latin, Greek and Italian. In 1798, she married the writer Knud Lyne Rahbek (1760–1830). Her husband was a writer, poet, literary historian and magazine editor. Her salon at Bakkehuset became a cultural centre and the gathering place for the writers of the Danish Golden age and was considered the salon of the middle class in contrast to the more aristocratic Friederike Brun and Charlotte Schimmelmann.
