Ulrica Eleonora Rålamb
Ulrica Eleonora Rålamb, née von Düben (19 August 1769-Strängnäs, 9 February 1847), was a politically active Swedish countess and socialite. She was born to count Carl Wilhelm von Düben and Ulrica von Düben. She came from a family of courtiers, being related to Emerentia von Düben, Fredrika Eleonora von Düben and Ulrika Eleonora von Düben. Prior to her marriage, she served as ''hovfröken'' (Maid of honour) to the royal duchess Charlotte. In 1794, she married the courtier baron Claes Rålamb (1750-1826). As was customary in the Swedish nobility at the time when a female married a male with a lower title, she took her husband's last name, but kept her own title, as countess was a higher title than baroness, and became known as countess Rålamb even though her husband was still baron Rålamb. Jean Grossaint De La Roche-yon
Jean Grossaint De la Roche-yon (1713 - 1769) was a Swedish officer and spy. Han was born in Lysekil. He was a lieutenant in the regiment of Maurice de Saxe in 1735, served in the Swedish army in Finland in 1736-43, and in the Danish army as colonel lieutenant in 1743-59. He was active in Sweden as a Danish agent in 1740-44, supporting the Pro-Danish party against the Hats (party)-government and influencing members of the Peasant- and Priest-Estates in favor of Danish interests. During the Dalecarlian rebellion (1743), he acted as a channel between the rebels and the Danish embassy. He was suspected of having encouraged the rebellion, and when it was defeated he escaped to Denmark. He returned in secret in the mission of recruiting Dalecarlian rebels to support a planned Danish invasion of Sweden from Norway, but failed and returned to Denmark. Elisabeth Stierncrona
Elisabeth Stierncrona (9 January 1714 – 28 June 1769) was a Swedish countess and writer. Life Elisabeth Stierncrona was born in Stockholm. Her parents were Baron Gabriel Stierncrona (1669-1723) and Antoinetta Maria Amija (1687-1721). She married Count Fredrik Gyllenborg (courtier), Fredrik Gyllenborg (1698-1759), courtier and a leading member of the Hats (party), on the 27 April 1729. She had nine children during her marriage. As was still a custom in the Swedish aristocracy of the time, she kept her original name after marriage. Her education is unknown, but it is clear that she had a wide knowledge within Christianity and politics. Both her own family and that of her spouse were very wealthy. Anna Christina Warg (23March 17035February 1769), better known as Cajsa (or Kajsa) Warg, was a Swedish cookbook author and one of the best-known cooks in Swedish history. Early life Warg was born in Örebro, the younger of two daughters, to accountant Anders Warg (died 1708) and Karin Livijn (died 1755). In 1710, her mother married the nobleman Eric Rosenstråle, with whom she had seven more children and moved with to Borggård Manor outside Finspång. Career Warg left home early to be the cook and housekeeper for several powerful people in Stockholm, such as the general Count Wolter Reinhold von Stackelberg. It is not known when she started her career, but von Stackelberg had previously served with her father as an officer in the army, and it is considered likely that she was employed by him as his cook by the time he married and settled down in Stockholm in 1735. Ebba Morman
"Ebba" Jeanette Morman (1769 – 9 October 1802) was a Swedish stage actress. She was active at the Royal Dramatic Theatre in 1791-1802 and was popular actress, known for her demonic character portraits. Life Ebba Morman married cleric Johan Peter Brolin in 1788, but was divorced by 1792, when she signed a contract with the name Ebba Jeanette de Morman. She had a relationship with the actor Carl Schylander from 1792 to her death from tuberculosis in 1802. They married shortly before her death. Career Morman debuted at the Royal Dramatic Theatre in 1791. She performed at the Royal Swedish Opera before she was contracted at the Royal Dramatic Theatre in 1792. She was a valued member of the Royal Dramatic Theatre and had the position to refuse to be a replacement for any actors than the two female stars, Fredrique Löwen and Marie Louise Marcadet.
