Christian Tychsen (Governor)
Christian Tychsen was the first head of the Danish Gold Coast to be given the title of ''Governor'' on a regular basis. Prior to his governorship, only Bartholomaus von Gronstein, Conrad Crull, and Magnus Prang had served as governors.Ole Jutesen,ed. ''Danish Sources for the History of Ghana''. Christian Fleischer
Christian Fleischer (10 August 1713 – 21 March 1768) was a Danish civil servant in the naval administration. He was a son of Herman Reinhold Fleischer (1656–1712). His father died before he was born, but several of his uncles had notable careers in Norway. Baltzer Fleischer was his brother thus Christian Fleischer was a great uncle of Palle Rømer Fleischer. The family had roots in Elbing, East Prussia. He took education from 1730 to 1733, and was then hired as a private tutor for Count Ulrik Adolf Danneskjold-Samsøe ( :da:Ulrik Adolph Danneskiold-Samsøe). He would serve the Count in his later professional life. He was a secretary and chief auditor in the naval administration in the 1740s. In 1754 he became the only non-noble member of the Collegium of the Admiralty and Commissariat-General. He headed the naval etat from 1767 (acting since 1763). Mariane Bournonville née ''Jensen'' (1768–1797), was a Danish ballerina. She was active at the Royal Danish Ballet in 1784-1796, and is counted as among the elite of her profession at the time, famed for her performance within comedie ballet. Charles August, Crown Prince Of Sweden
Charles August or Carl August (9 July 1768 – 28 May 1810) was a Danish prince. He is best known for serving as Crown Prince of Sweden briefly in 1810, adopted by Charles XIII, before his sudden death from a stroke. Earlier, he had been a general in the Royal Danish Army as well as the Governor-general of Norway. His name before assuming the Swedish title in 1810 was Christian August of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Augustenburg, or Christian August of Augustenburg for short. Christian VII Of Denmark
Christian VII (29 January 1749 – 13 March 1808) was a monarch of the House of Oldenburg who was King of Denmark–Norway and Duke of Schleswig and Holstein from 1766 until his death in 1808. For his motto he chose: "''Gloria ex amore patriae''" ("Glory through love of the fatherland"). Christian VII's reign was marked by mental illness and for most of his reign, Christian was only nominally king. His royal advisers changed depending on who won power struggles around the throne. From 1770 to 1772, his court physician Johann Friedrich Struensee was the ''de facto'' ruler of the country and introduced progressive reforms signed into law by Christian VII. Struensee was deposed by a coup in 1772, after which the country was ruled by Christian's stepmother, Juliane Marie of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel, his half-brother Frederick, and the Danish politician Ove Høegh-Guldberg.
