Frederik Adeler
Frederik Adeler (1700-1766) was a Dano-Norwegian government official and landowner. He served as a County Governor and County Governor of several counties in Norway and Denmark from 1727 until his death in 1766. He was the son of Privy Councilor Frederick Christian von Adeler (died 1726) and grandson of Admiral Cort Adeler. He traveled abroad in 1722 with two of his brothers, visited Germany and the Netherlands, England, France and Italy in 4 years, and shortly after his return in 1726 became chamberlain to Queen Anna Sophie. At the same time as his marriage in 1727, he became a state councilor and county governor of Kalundborg, Sæbygård, Dragsholm and Holbæk counties in Denmark. In 1749, he was made a Knight of the Order of the Dannebrog. In 1751, he exchanged jobs with his brother-in-law Joachim Hartwig Johann von Barner and he became the Diocesan Governor of Christianssand as well as the County Governor of Nedenæs amt. Anna Krefting
Anna Paulsdatter Krefting née Vogt (1683-1766), was a Norwegian businesswoman who ran and expanded her family's business enterprises in and around Christiania for over 50 years. Among these enterprises were mines and ironworks, forestry, and trade. Anna Paulsdatter Vogt was born into an affluent family in Christiania with ties to the government in Copenhagen. Her father, Paul Pedersen Vogt, was originally from Denmark and was responsible for the stores at Akershus Fortress but also a merchant, mill owner, and shipowner in Christiania. Anna's mother, Catarina née Bauman, was the daughter of Dominicus Brau(n)man, war commissary and also in charge of the stores at Akershus. Anna married Herman Krefting on 26 October 1699, when she was only 16 years old. The couple had at least seven children together. Anna was widowed while she was pregnant with the last child. Peter Nicolaj Arbo
Peter Nicolaj Arbo (16 November 1768 – 12 September 1827) was a Norwegian-Danish timber trader and landowner. He owned the estates Aldershvile, Lundbygård and Oremandsgaard in Denmark and Gulskogen Manor in Norway. Early life Arbo was born in Strømsø, Drammen, Norway. His parents were Johannes Petersen Arbo and Anne Cathrine Arbo née Friisenberg. Career Arbo entered Collett & Sæn though his marriage to Anne Cathrine Collett. Founded by James Collett in Christiania in the 1690s, it had become the largest timber trading company in Norway and was also active in the shipping industry. Arbo later moved to Copenhagen where he was also active in the timber industry. Property Arbo acquired Gulskogen Manor at Drammen in Norway in 1794. Ole Olsen Evenstad (23 September 1766 – 20 February 1833) was a Norwegian farmer and elected official who served as a representative at the Norwegian Constitutional Assembly. Biography Ole Olsen Evenstad was born on the Evenstad farm in Stor-Elvdal parish in Hedmark, Norway. He was the son of a farm owner and local sheriff, Ole Olsen Evenstad (1739–1806) and Gertrude Helgesdatter Søstu Stai (1745–1820). Evenstad later ran the family farm and also served as sheriff in his district. Ole Olsen Evenstad was elected to the Norwegian Constituent Assembly at Eidsvoll in 1814, representing the constituency of Hedemarkens Amt (now Hedmark). Jens Johan Vangensten (6 September 1766 - 8 February 1837) was a Norwegian farmer and politician. He was born at Fet in Akershus, Norway. Carsten Tank
Carsten Tank (24 April 1766 – 28 January 1832) was a Norwegian businessman and politician who served as Norway, Norwegian councilor of government of the 1st Ministry (finance and taxes, March–November 1814), and later councilor of state of the same ministry. Biography Carsten Tank was born at Rød Herregård, the family estate at Halden in Østfold County, Norway. Carsten Tank belonged to a branch of a wealthy timber merchant family. Carsten Tank's grandfather, Carsten Nielsen Tank was a merchant and acquired Rød Herregård in 1733. His parents were Nils Carstensen Tank (1725–1801) and Sophie Cathrine Leuch (1740–1778).
