Giovanni Carlo Galli-Bibiena
Giovanni Carlo Galli-Bibiena (August 11, 1717 - November 20, 1760), was an Italian architect and designer. He was the son of Francesco Galli Bibiena and a member of the Galli da Bibiena family of artists. He was a member of the Accademia Clementina in Bologna. "Artists' Biographies: Galli-Bibiena [Galli da Bibiena]," ''artnet - The art world online'', New York City, NY, 2006, webpage: an-GBibiena ("artnet" is a trademark of artnet Worldwide Corporation). In Bologna, he decorated the staircase of Palazzo Savini and the chapel ''Cappella di San Antonio'' in San Bartolommeo di Porta Ravegnana. Jacques Saly
Jacques François Joseph Saly, also known as Jacques Saly (20 June 1717 – 4 May 1776), French-born sculptor who worked in France, Italy and Malta. He is commonly associated with his time in Denmark he served as Director of the Royal Danish Academy of Art (1754–71). His most noteworthy work is the equestrian statue ''Frederik V on Horseback'' at Amalienborg. Life Training as a sculptor and early career He was born in Valenciennes to François Marie Saly (1684–1776) and his wife Marie-Michelle Jardez (1690–1760). He began his training as a sculptor at nine years of age under local master Antoine Gilles in Valenciennes from 1726-1727. In spite of his parents' meager income, he was sent to Paris in 1732 to train in the studio of the leading sculptor at Paris, Guillaume Coustou. Jean-Charles François
Jean-Charles François (4 May 1717 – 22 March 1769) was a French engraver. François was born at Nancy, France, Nancy. He was among the pioneers of the so-called "" ("crayon manner") of printmaking, which simulated the appearance of crayon and chalk drawings. He was pensioned by King Louis XV of France, who employed him extensively. His most noted works represent Louis XV, Marie Leszczyńska, Pierre Bayle, Erasmus, John Locke, and Nicolas Malebranche.
