Hirokazu Kore-eda
is a Japanese film director, producer, screenwriter, and editor. He began his career in television and has since directed more than a dozen feature films, including '' Nobody Knows'' (2004), '' Still Walking'' (2008), and '' After the Storm'' (2016). He won the Jury Prize at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival for '' Like Father, Like Son'' and won the Palme d'Or at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival for ''Shoplifters''. Bahman Farmanara ( fa, بهمن فرمانآرا, Bahman Farmānārā; born 23 January 1942) is an Iranian film director, screenwriter, and film producer. Bahman Farmanara is the second son in a family of four brothers and one sister. The family business was Textile and he was the only son who did not join the business and went off to the United Kingdom and later on to the United States to study acting and directing. Zain Al Rafeea ( ar, زين الرافعي, born 10 October 2004) is a Syrian-born Norwegian actor. He is best known for his starring role in the 2018 Lebanese film ''Capernaum'', which won the Jury Prize at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival. ''Manto'' is a 2018 Indian biographical drama film based on the life of the prominent Urdu author Saadat Hasan Manto, written and directed by Nandita Das. The film stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the title character of Indo-Pakistani, author and writer Saadat Hasan Manto. Tahir Raj Bhasin plays the 1940s Hindi film superstar Shyam Chadda. Payman Maadi ( fa, پیمان معادی; born 1972), also known as Peyman Moadi, is an Iranian American actor, screenwriter and director. Sameh Zoabi is a Palestinian Israeli film writer and director best known for his 2019 film ''Tel Aviv on Fire''. Childhood and education Zoabi grew up in Iksal, a village near Nazareth, Israel.
