11th Feroz Awards
The 11th Feroz Awards, presented by the Asociación de Informadores Cinematográficos de España, took place at the Palacio Vistalegre Arena in Madrid, on 26 January 2024, to recognize the best in Spanish cinema and television. In the film categories, Víctor Erice's '' Close Your Eyes'' received the most nominations with nine, followed by ''20,000 Species of Bees'' and ''Un amor'', with seven each. Movistar Plus+ series '' La Mesías'' led the nominations with a record-breaking eleven nominations. In the film categories, ''Robot Dreams'' won the most awards, with three. Palacio Vistalegre
The Palacio Vistalegre is a multipurpose arena located in Madrid, Spain. It was built on the site of the former bullring, "Plaza de toros de Vista Alegre", built in 1906 and demolished in 1995. The venue is composed of three main spaces: The Arena, The Centre and the Sala San Miguel (formerly known as The Box). History In 1980, the original bullring closed, and the site stood empty until plans were unveiled in 1996 for the modern arena, which would also be capable of staging bullfights. The arena was opened in 2000, offering a seating capacity of 14,000 and has 1,015 parking places. Valérie Delpierre is a Monaco-born film producer whose career has been in and around Spain . She produces films from her company Inicia Films. One of the films she produced took three Gaudí Awards for Best Film in a Non-Catalan Language, best novel Director and best Cinematography for 20,000 Species of Bees in 2024.
