10 (New Kids On The Block Album)
''10'' is the sixth studio album by New Kids on the Block. It was released on April 2, 2013. This is the band's first studio album since 2008's '' The Block'', as well as their first album released independently after departing from Interscope Records. The album title refers to it being their tenth album release in the US (including compilation albums). The album made its debut on the ''Billboard'' 200 at number 6, number 1 on the Top Independent Albums and number 8 on the Canadian albums chart. Background and development On January 22, 2013, the group appeared on '' The View'' and announced that they would release a new single titled "Remix (I Like The)" on January 28 and a new album titled ''10'' would be released on April 2, 2013. New Kids on the Block (also initialized as NKOTB) is an American boy band from Dorchester, Massachusetts. The band consists of brothers Jonathan and Jordan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, and Danny Wood. New Kids on the Block enjoyed success in the late 1980s and early 1990s and have sold more than 80 million records worldwide, are considered the first modern boy band and are often credited for paving the way for future boy bands such as Take That, Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC. The Package Tour
The Package Tour was a co-headlining tour featuring American bands New Kids on the Block, 98 Degrees and Boyz II Men. Beginning May 2013, the groups performed nearly fifty shows in North America. Background The tour was officially announced during a surprise appearance on '' The View''. Boyz II Men and 98 Degrees performed a cappella versions of their classics. The double entendre name was created by Joey McIntyre. The trek is described as nostalgia trip for the fans. All three bands have expressed giving their loyal fans a show they've been waiting for. Oritsé Jolomi Matthew Soloman Williams ( ; born 27 November 1986), professionally as Oritsé, is an English singer-songwriter, dancer and record producer. He is best known as the founding member of the boy band JLS, who were runners-up to Alexandra Burke on the fifth series of '' The X Factor'' in 2008.
