Blue Rodeo
Blue Rodeo is a Canadian country rock band formed in 1984 in Toronto, Ontario. They have released 16 full-length studio albums, four live recordings, one greatest hits album, and two video/DVDs, along with multiple solo albums, side projects, and collaborations. History High school friends Jim Cuddy and Greg Keelor began playing music professionally together after completing university. They put together several bands without commercial success in the late 1970s, releasing a single as Hi-Fi's in 1980. Cuddy and Keelor moved to New York City in the early 1980s to further their music careers. There they met keyboardist and fellow Canadian Bob Wiseman, who was at that time working as a producer. Tim Vesely
Tim Vesely (born 10 December 1963) is a Canadian musician and songwriter. He is best known as a founding member of the indie rock band Rheostatics, in which he shared vocal duties with bandmates Dave Bidini and Martin Tielli. Vesely wrote much of the band's conventionally pop and rock-oriented material, including both of the band's most successful singles, "Claire" and "Bad Time to Be Poor". Vesely announced his departure from the Rheostatics on 8 September 2006. He played his final show with the band on 30 March 2007 at Massey Hall. Rheostatics
Rheostatics are a Canadian indie rock band. They were formed in 1978, and actively performed from 1980 until disbanding in 2007. After a number of reunion performances at special events, Rheostatics reformed in late 2016, introducing new songs and performing semi-regularly. Jimmy Bowskill
Jimmy Bowskill (born 16 September 1990) is a Canadian Blues music, blues singer, guitarist and bassist based in Toronto, Ontario. Early life Bowskill grew up in Bailieboro, Ontario, Bailieboro, a small village near Peterborough, Ontario, where he learned to play guitar. Career Bowskill began performing at a young age, and first played on stage at the age of eleven at Jeff Healey's club in Toronto, Ontario. “They wouldn’t let an 11-year-old inside his club, so I started busking on the side- walk outside,” Jimmy recalls in Guitar Player, Guitar Player Magazine “Jeff Healey, Jeff heard about me, invited me in to play, and I did pretty well.
