1. Allgemeine Verunsicherung is the first album from the Austrian band Erste Allgemeine Verunsicherung. It is actually self-titled, since cardinal numbers followed by a full stop become ordinal numbers: "1." in German translates as "first" as opposed to the number one. The album is mainly in German, although some of the titles are in English. As the band had changed its members, the material on this album differs considerably from the music the band later went on to produce. The album was released only in Austria in 1978 under catalogue number EMI Columbia 12C 054-33230. Because only 1800 records were released, original copies are difficult to find and highly sought after by collectors. The album was reissued on CD in 2015 and on vinyl in 2016. Erste Allgemeine Verunsicherung
The ''EAV'' (Erste Allgemeine Verunsicherung, German for "First General Confusion/Uncertainty/'Uninsurance'") was an Austrian band which was formed in 1977 and disbanded in 2019. Nino Holm first established a band called "Anti-Pasta", but it was not successful and it dissolved after three years. Holm then decided together with his friend Thomas Spitzer to create a new band. While they were undecided on a name, they saw a bus stop in a branch of "Erste Allgemeine Versicherung" ("First General Insurance"), abbreviated EAV, and so they came to the name "Erste Allgemeine Verunsicherung-EAV". They initially faced legal difficulty in Austria due to the (obviously intended) similarity of their band name to that of the corporation " Erste Allgemeine Versicherung". This was later dropped and the insurance company was even known to sponsor them on a few occasions. The EAV often changed their members. EMI Columbia Records
Columbia Graphophone Co. Ltd. was one of the earliest gramophone companies in the United Kingdom. Founded in 1917 as an offshoot of the American Columbia Phonograph Company, it became an independent British-owned company in 1922 in a management buy-out after the parent company went into receivership. In 1925 it acquired a controlling interest in its American parent company to take advantage of a new electrical recording process. The British firm also controlled the US operations from 1925 until 1931. That year Columbia Graphophone in the UK merged with the Gramophone Company (which sold records under the HMV label) to form EMI. At the same time, Columbia divested itself of its American branch, which was eventually absorbed by Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS) in 1938. ''Café Passé'' is the second album to be released by the Austrian group Erste Allgemeine Verunsicherung The ''EAV'' (Erste Allgemeine Verunsicherung, German for "First General Confusion/Uncertainty/'Uninsurance'") was an Austrian band which was formed in 1977 and disbanded in 2019. The album cover shows a picture of the band's members at the time, which were (from left to right) Walter Hammerl, Anders Stenmo, Nino Holm and Eik Breit on the top row and on the bottom is Marina Tatic and Thomas Spitzer. The album was issued on LP first in 1981 on the catalogue number Mood 24600. This was to be the final album to feature Walter Hammerl as he died in the same year. Helena Rubinstein (born Chaja Rubinstein; December 25, 1870 – April 1, 1965) was a Polish and American businesswoman, art collector, and philanthropist.
