Žaga, Bovec
Žaga (; ) is a settlement on the right bank of the Soča River in the Municipality of Bovec in the Littoral region of Slovenia. The turn for the road to Resia in Italy is in the middle of the settlement. Geography Boka Falls is a waterfall on Boka Creek in the northeast part of the settlement. There are also two other waterfalls on Globoka Creek in the western part of the settlement. Gorizia Statistical Region
The Gorizia Statistical Region ( sl, Goriška statistična regija) is a statistical region in western Slovenia, along the border with Italy. It is named after the Italian town of Gorizia (the feminine adjective ''goriška'' comes from the Slovenian name for Gorizia: ''Gorica''). The Julian Alps, the Soča River, and the Vipava Valley are the most prominent natural features of this region. The Soča ( in Slovene) or Isonzo ( in Italian; other names fur, Lusinç, german: Sontig, la, Aesontius or ') is a long river that flows through western Slovenia () and northeastern Italy (). An Alpine river in character, its source lies in the Trenta Valley in the Julian Alps in northwestern Slovenia, at an elevation of .
