Åžaziye Moral
Şaziye Moral (1903 – 9 April 1985) was a Turkish female stage and film actress and voice actress. She was the second Muslim stage actress in Turkey. Early years Şaziye Moral was born to ethnic Turkish parents in Kardzali, Bulgaria in 1903. Her mother died during her birth, and her father died after a couple of years. After the Balkan Wars (1912–1913), she moved to Istanbul, then Ottoman Empire, by mingling in (with the Rumelian immigrants. She was raised by her relatives. She completed the primary and middle school in Kocamustafapaşa, Istanbul. She dropped out the high school in the last grade, and started to earn money in order not to be a burden to her relatives. Acting career She entered as a clerk in an agency dealing with general services in Beyazıt, Istanbul, which ran its own theatre "Yeni Hayat Tiyatrosu" (literally "New Life Theatre"). Åžaziye ErdoÄŸan-Okur (born February 23,1992) is a Turkish weightlifter competing in the Women's −45 kg division. Okur is the current world record holder in the −44 kg division of youth category with 77 kg in the snatch, 92 kg in the clean & jerk events and 169 kg in total. Career She was born to a poor family in Ankara, where her father was a construction worker. Already at the age of 11, she started with weightlifting in the primary school in Keçiören, Ankara. At the 2009 European Weightlifting Junior Championships held in Landskrona, Sweden, on 28 July, she broke four European youth records lifting 79.0 kg in snatch, 97.0 kg in clean&jerk and 172.0 and then 176.kg in total. She is trained by Talat Ãœnlü, Mustafa DoÄŸan, Erkan Kayır and Nurcihan Gönül. Şaziye İvegin (born 8 February 1982) is a Turkish retired professional basketball player. A basketball player’s daughter, İvegin started basketball in 7th school class on the same day together with her two younger sisters. The three sisters played in the Adana-based club Botaşspor and won twice the Turkish Girls’ Basketball League championship title. At her age of 22, she became the youngest women's basketball team captain in the country. After 10 successful years with Botaş, İvegin transferred to Fenerbahçe on May 7, 2004. İvegin was member of the Turkish national team that participated at the 2005 Mediterranean Games in Almería, Spain and won the gold medal.
