Ľubomír Luhový
Ľubomír Luhový (born 31 March 1967) is a former Slovak football player and manager. He is former sporting director of Třinec. In his club career he played mostly for FK Inter Bratislava. Club career Luhový played for FC Martigues in the French Ligue 2 during the 1991–92 season. International career Luhový made two appearances for the full Czechoslovakia national football team. He also made nine appearances for the full Slovakia national football team. Management career Luhový started as manager of FC Nitra and Fotbal Třinec in the Czech 2. Liga on 7 October 2010. He was replaced as manager in April 2012, with Třinec 13th in the table. However Luhový stayed on at the club in a new role, as sporting director. Považská Bystrica
Považská Bystrica (; german: Waagbistritz; hu, Vágbeszterce) is a town in northwestern Slovakia. It is located on the Váh river, around 30 km from the city of Žilina. It belongs to Upper Váh region of tourism. Profile Považská Bystrica is situated in a fold of mountain ranges Strážovské vrchy (1213 m) and Javorníky (1071 m a.s.l.). OFC Russel Gabčíkovo was a Slovak football team, based in the town of Gabčíkovo. The club was founded in 1923. In February 2013, the club was renamed OFK Russel Gabčíkovo, due to the club's new sponsor. In 2016, the club was dissolved due to financial problems. The Slovak Super Liga is the top level football league in Slovakia, currently known as the Fortuna Liga due to a sponsorship arrangement. It was formed in 1993 following the dissolution of Czechoslovakia. The record for most titles is eleven, held by Slovan Bratislava, who are the current title holders. Czechoslovak First League
The Czechoslovak First League ( cs, 1. fotbalová liga, sk, 1. futbalová liga) was the premier football league in the Czechoslovakia from 1925 to 1993, with the exception of World War II. Czechoslovakia was occupied by German forces who formed Gauliga Sudetenland and Gauliga Böhmen und Mähren leagues on occupied territories. Until the 1934-35 season, no teams from Slovakia participated in the league. Czechs were allowed to run their own league in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, while Slovaks were granted their own independent Slovak State and created their own league. After the World War II the league was recreated. Description The league was dominated by clubs from Prague with Sparta Prague winning 19 titles, Dukla Prague 11 and Slavia Prague 9.
