İsmail Keleş (born 5 March 1988 in Ankara) is a Turkish shooting sport, sport shooter competing in the shooting sport#Pistol, pistol events. By profession an officer in the rank of First lieutenant at the Gendarmerie (Turkey), Turkish Gendarmerie, the tall athlete at , is a member of Jandarma Gücü Sports Club, where he is coached by Muhammed Topal. Keleş began with sport shooting in 2007. He has competed since 2008. He qualified for participation in the Shooting at the 2012 Summer Olympics – Qualification#10 m air pistol men, 10 m air pistol men event at the Turkey at the 2012 Summer Olympics, 2012 Summer Olympics after he won the silver medal at the 2012 ISSF World Cup held in Milan, Italy. He also competed in the 50 m pistol at the 2012 Summer Olympics. 2021 European Shooting Championships
The 2021 European Shooting Championships were held from 22 May to 5 June 2021 in Osijek, Croatia. 1,473 athletes from 52 countries competed. The championship was originally scheduled to only include events for shotgun, cartridge rifle and pistol. Lohja in Finland was scheduled to host the European 10metre event championships for air rifle, air pistol and running target in February. However, travel restrictions from the COVID pandemic prevented this event from running. The 10m events were hosted in Osijek. Schedule Events 82 medal events: Age: 46 events in seniors and 36 events in juniors. Number: 43 individual events and 39 team events. Due to the low number of entries, some events was a Grand Prix and didn't count as an event for the European Championship and not counted in medal table. Gendarmerie (Turkey)
The Gendarmerie General Command () is the national gendarmerie force of the Republic of Turkey.
