İmam Taşçıer
İmam Taşçıer (1 January 1959, Bismil, Turkey) is a Kurdish politician of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) and member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. Political career İmam Taşçıer was elected to the Turkish Parliament representing the HDP for Diyarbakır in the Parliamentary elections June 2015 and re-elected in the snap elections of November 2015 and the parliamentary elections of June 2018. He encouraged the Turkish Government led by the Justice and Development Party (AKP) to release Kurdish prisoners, recognizing Kurdish rights in Turkey and establishing good relations with the Syrian Kurds in exchange for Kurdish votes for the Istanbul mayoral elections on the 23 June 2019. The Grand National Assembly of Turkey ( tr, ), usually referred to simply as the TBMM or Parliament ( tr, or ''Parlamento''), is the unicameral Turkish legislature. It is the sole body given the legislative prerogatives by the Turkish Constitution. It was founded in Ankara on 23 April 1920 in the midst of the National Campaign. Bismil District
Bismil ( ku, Bismil) is a district of Diyarbakır Province of Turkey. The population is 117,674 (as of 2018) and most of the people are Kurds. Location In order to settle the influx of migrants from Konya in 1936, a new district of Diyarbakir was established. It is a South-Eastern Anatolia region of Turkey and is located to the east of the Diyarbakir province. The area of this district is 1748 km2. Geographically it is situated 550 meters above the sea level. The town features numerous parks. On the Körtik hill exists an archeological site. Figen Yüksekdağ Şenoğlu (born 19 December 1971) is a Turkish politician and journalist, who was a former co-leader of the left-wing Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) of Turkey from 2014 to 2017, serving alongside Selahattin Demirtaş.
