''ト経kolada'' ( Serbian for ''chocolate'') is the second studio album by Yugoslav new wave band Idoli, released in 1983. It is considered to be one of the best selling Yugoslav records, and was ranked #46 on the list of Greatest Yugoslav Rock and Pop Music Albums. History Having finished the tour in support of ''Odbrana i poslednji dani'' album, the band started working on new material. Since Jugoton was unsatisfied with the sales of ''Odbrana i poslednji dani'', the band had to take on a more commercial sound. In the meantime, bass guitarist Zdenko Kolar left to serve in the Yugoslav People's Army and was temporarily replaced by Branko Isakoviト. The band went to London and worked with producer Bob Painter who completely changed their style. The result was ''ト経kolada''. Originally planned to be released as a double EP entitled ''U gradu bez sna'', at Jugoton's insistence it was released as a long-playing record. Idoli
Idoli ( sr-cyr, ミ侑エミセミサミク; trans. The Idols) were a Serbian new wave band from Belgrade. They are considered to be one of the most notable acts of the Yugoslav rock scene, and their 1982 album ''Odbrana i poslednji dani'' was on several occasions voted by the music critics as the greatest Yugoslav rock album. History Merlin and Zvuk Ulice The roots of Idoli can be found in a band called Merlin (not to be confused with the Sarajevo pop rock band of the same name) and then Zvuk Ulice consisting of Vlada Divljan on guitar and vocals, bassist Zdenko Kolar, keyboard player Dragan Mitriト, drummer Kokan Popoviト, Bora Antiト on saxophone and Dragana Milkoviト on piano and vocals. Mrtva Priroda
''Mrtva priroda'' (trans. '' Still Life'') is the third studio album from Serbian and former Yugoslav rock band Riblja ト経rba, released in 1981. In 1998, the album was polled as the 19th on the list of 100 greatest Yugoslav rock and pop albums in the book '' YU 100: najbolji albumi jugoslovenske rok i pop muzike'' (''YU 100: The Best albums of Yugoslav pop and rock music''). In 2015, the album was pronounced the 22nd on the list of 100 greatest Yugoslav albums published by Croatian edition of ''Rolling Stone''. Background and recording For the first time, a Riblja ト経rba album featured a song written entirely by the guitarist Momト絞lo Bajagiト, "Ja sam se loナセio na tebe". Vladimir "Vlada" Divljan ( sr-Cyrl, ミ漬サミーミエミクミシミクム "ミ漬サミーミエミー" ミ頒クミイム厰ーミス; 10 May 1958 窶 4 March 2015), was a Serbian singer and songwriter. He was known as the frontman of the Serbian and Yugoslav rock band Idoli, one of the bands which initiated the Yugoslav new wave on the music and cultural scene of Yugoslavia in the 1980s, as well as for his solo works. Nebojナ。a Krstiト ( sr-cyrl, ミ斷オミアミセム佯威ー ミ墫ムムひクム; born 9 July 1957) is a Serbian media personality, political commentator, former musician (VIS Idoli) and physician. Bambina (Idoli Song)
"Bambina" is the third single by the Serbian band Idoli. It was chosen to be the only single from the ト経kolada album which was the band's highest commercial peak. History Having finished the tour for ''Odbrana i poslednji dani'' the band started writing new material for a new release which was planned to be a double EP. The record company, Jugoton, did not agree and decided to release ト経kolada as a long play record. "Bambina" was chosen as the promo single first given only to radio stations and later, due to large popularity, appeared for sale as well. As the writer of the song also appeared Duナ。an Gerziト partially because he was the writer of the track "ト経kolada" which was intended for the band Via Talas, but ナaper presented it as an Idoli song.
