Zafer Stadı is a multi-purpose stadium in Guzelyurt, Northern Cyprus. It is currently used mostly for football matches and hosted some matches for 2006 ELF Cup. The stadium holds 1,400 people. It is the home of the football clubs Baf Ülkü Yurdu S.K. and Binatlı Yılmaz S.K. and is the original home ground of Digenis Akritas Morphou. Morphou
Morphou ( el, Μόρφου; tr, Omorfo or ) is a town in the northwestern part of Cyprus, under the ''de facto'' control of Northern Cyprus. It is the administrative center of the Güzelyurt District of Northern Cyprus. Having been a predominantly Greek Cypriot community before the 1974 Turkish invasion of Cyprus, the town is now inhabited by Turkish Cypriots. With a population of 18,000 people, the town is famous for its oranges, apples, vegetables, grapefruit and melons. The ELF Cup (''Equality, Liberty, Fraternity'') was an international football tournament organised by the Cyprus Turkish Football Federation (KTFF), a member of the NF-Board. It was played only once in 2006. Among the participants were NF-Board teams, and FIFA member teams from the Asian Football Confederation. The Turkish invasion of Cyprus began on 20 July 1974 and progressed in two phases over the following month.
