Ülkü Uludoğan
Ülkü Uludoğan (born 1940, Ankara) is a Turkish artist. She received her first art lessons from her father Naim Uludoğan. She graduated from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in Istanbul, and has also taken art and painting lessons from Nurullah Berk and . She continued art studies with in Ankara and in Germany, and graduated from the University of Kassel. Uludoğan was a culture & art consultant to the Destek Reasürans Art Gallery of Türkiye İş Bankası for 8 years. She is one of the main founders of Women Artists' Society of Ankara. Her paintings are exhibited in the State Art and Sculpture Museum (Ankara), Hessian State Museum, Kassel and various state and private galleries and collections. Uludoğan has held seventeen solo exhibitions as well as various mixed painting exhibitions in Turkey and in Germany, Belgium, Spain, France, and Jordan. Ankara ( , ; ), historically known as Ancyra and Angora, is the capital of Turkey. Naim UludoÄŸan
Naim Uludoğan (1911 – 18 December 2010) was a Turkish artist, sculptor and cartographic officer. Born in Shkodër, then part of the Ottoman Empire, he and his family migrated to Istanbul in the immediate aftermath of the First Balkan War. He graduated from the Kuleli Military High School and Harbiye War Academy (1933) as an Infantry officer during the period of 1926–34. At Kuleli, he received regular instructions from Sami Yetik, a well known Turkish artist. In 1947, Uludoğan became a member of the Military Artists Association. He later graduated from Gazi University and was certified for instructing art and painting. He instructed in various military education institutions until 1955, when he retired from the Army with the rank of major. Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University
The Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University ( tr, Mimar Sinan Güzel Sanatlar Üniversitesi, or MSGSÜ) is a Turkish public university dedicated to higher education in the fine arts. It is located in the Fındıklı neighbourhood of Beyoğlu, Istanbul, Turkey. Founded in 1882 by Osman Hamdi Bey, the institution imitated the traditional European Beaux-Arts model and was the first Western-style art academy of its kind in the Middle East. Nurullah Berk
Nurullah Berk (March 22, 1906, İstanbul – January 9, 1982, İstanbul) was a Turkish painter, writer and an academician who pioneered cubism and constructivism in Turkey. After finishing Galatasaray Lycee he attended Sanayi-i Nefise Mektebi, today Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, where he studied under Hikmet Onat and İbrahim Çallı. In 1924 he went to Paris to attend École des Beaux-Arts where he studied with Ernest Laurent and André Lhote. After finishing his studies in 1928 he returned to Istanbul. With some of his friends he established "Müstakil Ressamlar ve Heykeltıraşlar Birliği" (Union of Independent Painters and Sculptors). After five years, he again went to Paris and then returned in 1933. Halil Turgut Özal (; 13 October 192717 April 1993) was a Turkish politician, who served as the 8th President of Turkey from 1989 to 1993. He previously served as the 26th Prime Minister of Turkey from 1983 to 1989 as the leader of the Motherland Party.
