Örjan Persson
Per Örjan Persson (27 August 1942) is a Swedish former football player. He played for Scottish clubs Dundee United and Rangers in the 1960s. He also represented Sweden at the 1970 FIFA World Cup in Mexico and the European Championship qualifiers in 1964. Career Persson was the first of five Scandinavian imports signed by Dundee United manager Jerry Kerr who was one of the first managers in Scotland to tap into the Scandinavian market to find talented and experienced players at an affordable price. Persson moved to Tannadice from Örgryte IS on 2 December 1964, the first overseas player to join the club. As there was no professionalism in Swedish football in the 1960s United did not have to pay a transfer fee. He made his debut along with the Danish striker Finn Døssing. Hendrik Johannes Cruijff (, internationally known as Johan Cruyff; 25 April 1947 – 24 March 2016) was a Dutch professional football player and manager. As a player, he won the Ballon d'Or three times, in 1971, 1973 and 1974. Cruyff was a proponent of the football philosophy known as Total Football explored by Rinus Michels. Lennart Wing
Lennart Wing (born 7 August 1935) is a Swedish former footballer and manager who played as a wing half. He began his senior career with Örgryte IS before moving to play professionally in Scotland, joining Dundee United in 1965. He returned to Örgryte in 1967 and also played for Kungsbacka BI before retiring in 1970. He later managed Örgryte in 1976. He won 36 caps for Sweden between 1961 and 1965. Early life Wing was born in Gothenburg, Sweden and grew up in the Gamlestaden area of the city. Mogens Berg (born 8 June 1944) is a Danish former Football (soccer), footballer, who played professionally as a Midfielder#Winger, winger for Scottish club Dundee United F.C., Dundee United. Finn Døssing
Finn Døssing Jensen (27 April 1941 – 24 June 2022) was a Danish footballer who played as a centre forward. He began his career with Viborg FF and represented the Denmark under-21 team before joining Dundee United in 1964. He scored 76 goals in 115 appearances for the Scottish club before returning to Denmark to finish his career with Aalborg BK. He was inducted into the Dundee United Hall of Fame in 2008. Career Club Døssing was born in Viborg, Jutland and started his career with his hometown club Viborg FF in 1958, aged 17.
