Ívar DeCarsta Webster
Ívar DeCarsta Unsont Webster (born May 7, 1955) is a retired American-Icelandic professional basketball player and coach, and a former member of the Icelandic national basketball team. College Webster played for Indiana State from 1975 to 1978, where he was a roommate of Larry Bird. He is the schools all-time leader in blocked shots (168) and third in rebounds (862). Iceland Webster joined defending Icelandic national champions KR in September 1979. After a disappointing offensive performance in the annual Reykjavík tournament, he played one game for KR in the FIBA European Cup Winners' Cup before leaving in November to join Division I club Skallagrímur as player-coach. The Iceland men's national basketball team ( is, Íslenska karlalandsliðið í körfubolta) represents Iceland in international basketball tournaments. The team is controlled by the Icelandic Basketball Association. Iceland has qualified for the EuroBasket twice, with the national team making their first ever appearance in 2015. Friðrik Pétur Ragnarsson (born 9 January 1967) is an Icelandic former basketball player and a coach. Playing career Friðrik spent the majority of his career with Njarðvík, where he won the Icelandic national championships 6 times. He retired as a player after the 2001 Úrvalsdeild finals.
