Êta Mundo Bom!
''Êta Mundo Bom!'' (English title: ''The Good Side of Life!'') is a Brazilian telenovela produced and broadcast by TV Globo. It premiered on 18 January 2016 in the 6 p.m. timeslot, replacing ''Além do Tempo'' and ended on 26 August 2016, being followed by '' Sol Nascente''. It is written by Walcyr Carrasco and directed by Jorge Fernando. Starring Sérgio Guizé, Flávia Alessandra, Débora Nascimento, Bianca Bin, Eriberto Leão, Elizabeth Savalla, Dhu Moraes, Rosi Campos, Marco Nanini, Miguel Rômulo and Ary Fontoura. Set in the 1940s, ''Êta Mundo Bom!'' examines the life of Candinho ( Sérgio Guizé), a young man who was separated from his mother at birth and lives in abject poverty in the fictitious countryside of Piracema. A telenovela is a type of a television serial drama or soap opera produced primarily in Latin America. The word combines ''tele'' (for "television") and ''novela'' (meaning "novel"). Similar drama genres around the world include '' teleserye'' (Philippines), '' téléroman'' (Canada, specifically Quebec), and ''sinetron'' (Indonesia). Commonly described using the American colloquialism Spanish soap opera, many telenovelas share some stylistic and thematic similarities to the soap opera familiar to the English-speaking world. Flávio Migliaccio
Flávio Migliaccio (26 August 1934 – 4 May 2020) was a Brazilian actor, film director and screenwriter. He appeared in more than 90 films and television shows between 1958 and 2019. His 1962 film ''The Beggars'' was entered into the 3rd Moscow International Film Festival. His elder sister Dirce Migliaccio was also an actress. Migliaccio was found dead by his property caretaker at his farm in Rio Bonito, Rio de Janeiro, on 4 May 2020, aged 85.
