Éber Donn
In Irish mythology, Éber Donn ("Eber the brown" or "the noble") is the eldest son of Míl Espáine, the mythical ancestor of the Irish people. Unlike his brothers, Eremon, Éber Finn and Amergin Glúingel, Amergin, Éber Donn was unable to land in Ireland, and was killed by a shipwreck off the island's southwest coast. As reported by Lebor Gabála Érenn, Éber Donn slighted the goddess Ériu, who predicted that neither he nor his offspring would land safely on the soil of Ireland. He was buried by his brothers in Tech Duinn, a rocky island off the Irish coast. According to one interpretation Éber Donn would be a continuation of the Celtic deity of death Donn, since both are connected with Tech Duinn, a place commonly identified with Bull Rock, a rocky islet off the coast of the Beara Peninsula. Another Éber Donn, Éber Donn mac Ír, the nephew of the previous, is considered the progenitor of the kings of Ulaid and Dalriada. References

In Irish origin myths, Míl Espáine or Míl Espáne (later Latinized as Milesius; also Miled/Miledh) is the mythical ancestor of the final inhabitants of Ireland, the "sons of Míl" or Milesians, who represent the vast majority of the Irish Gaels. His father was Bile, son of Breogan. Etymology Mark Williams characterises the name ''Míl Espáine'' as an "etymological figment" translated from the Latin ''miles Hispaniae'', meaning "soldier of Hispania (Spain)", attested in a passage (§ 13) in the 9th-century pseudo-historical work ''Historia Brittonum'' (''"The History of the Britons"'') by Nennius. Eremon
Eremon is a relatively small community located in the Lawra Municipality in the Upper West Region of Ghana. It is about 50 kilometers north of Wa the regional capital. It is the biggest subdistrict in the entire region. The people are mainly Dagaaba (from the Dagara tribe) and they speak an indigenous language called Dagaare. History has it that the Dagaaba came all the way from Mali to settle in present-day Ghana and Burkina Faso. The distribution of the Dagaaba between the two countries is due to the partitioning of Africa by Colonialists in the 16th century. Éber Finn
Éber Finn (modern spelling: Éibhear Fionn), son of Míl Espáine, was, according to medieval Irish legend and historical tradition, a High King of Ireland and one of the founders of the Milesians (Irish), Milesian lineage, to which medieval genealogists traced all the important Gaels, Gaelic royal lines. According to the ''Lebor Gabála Érenn'', the ancestors of the Gaels were living in the Iberian peninsula, ruled by two of the sons of Míl, Éber Donn and Érimón. Amergin Glúingel
Amergin ''Glúingel'' ("white knees") (also spelled Amhairghin Glúngheal) or ''Glúnmar'' ("big knee") is a bard, druid and judge for the Milesians in the Irish Mythological Cycle. He was appointed Chief Ollam of Ireland by his two brothers the kings of Ireland. A number of poems attributed to Amergin are part of the Milesian mythology. One of the seven sons of Míl Espáine, he took part in the Milesian conquest of Ireland from the Tuatha Dé Danann, in revenge for their great-uncle Íth, who had been treacherously killed by the three kings of the Tuatha Dé Danann, Mac Cuill, Mac Cecht and Mac Gréine. ''Lebor Gabála Érenn'' (literally "The Book of the Taking of Ireland"), known in English as ''The Book of Invasions'', is a collection of poems and prose narratives in the Irish language intended to be a history of Ireland and the Irish from the creation of the world to the Middle Ages. There are a number of versions, the earliest of which was compiled by an anonymous writer in the 11th century. It synthesised narratives that had been developing over the foregoing centuries. Bull Rock
Dursey Island ( ga, Baoi Bhéarra or ') lies at the southwestern tip of the Beara Peninsula in the west of County Cork in Ireland. Dursey Island is 6.5 kilometres long and 1.5 kilometres wide. The island is separated from the mainland by a narrow stretch of water, Dursey Sound, which has a very strong tidal race, with the submerged Flag Rock close to the centre of the channel. The island has just six or so permanent residents, and is connected to the mainland by Ireland's only cable car. The cable car system is due to be closed for maintenance from April until November 2022, during which period a temporary ferry is due to operate. Dursey has no shops, pubs or restaurants. Beara Peninsula
Beara ( ga, Béarra) or the Beara Peninsula is a peninsula on the south-west coast of Ireland, bounded between the Kenmare "river" (actually a bay) to the north side and Bantry Bay to the south. It contains two mountain ranges running down its centre: the Caha Mountains and the Slieve Miskish Mountains. The northern part of the peninsula from Kenmare to near Ardgroom is in County Kerry, while the rest forms the barony of Bear in County Cork.
