Alexander Aas
Hendrik Alexander van Es Aas (born 14 September 1978), known as Alexander Aas, is a retired Norwegian football defender. Aas spent most of his career playing for Odd Grenland, before moving to Denmark for a two-year spell with Odense. In 2007, he was brought back to Norwegian football by Strømsgodset, where he was club captain until his retirement at the end of the 2012 season. Kim Aas Christensen (born 15 June 1970) is a Danish politician and member of the Folketing, the national legislature. A Social Democrat, he has represented Funen since November 2022. Taavi Aas
Taavi Aas (born 10 January 1966) is an Estonian politician. Former Minister of Economic Affairs and Infrastructure from 2019 to 2022 and Mayor of Tallinn, the capital of Estonia from 2017 to 2019. Before that, he served as the Acting Mayor of Tallinn since 30 September 2015 and Vice Mayor of Tallinn from April 2005. Aas has been the Chairman of Estonian Union of the Cities since 2010. Roald Edgar Aas (25 March 1928 â€“ 18 February 2012) was a speed skater and cyclist from Norway. He was born in Oslo. Aas was the number two speed skater in Norway through the entire 1950s—initially after Hjalmar Andersen, later after Knut Johannesen. He became Norwegian champion once, in 1956, but finished second seven times. Aas participated in all international championships between 1951 and 1960, almost always finishing in the top ten. He won bronze at the World Allround Speed Skating Championships in 1958, and at two European Speed Skating Championships, in 1957 and 1960. Per Almar Aas (11 June 1929 – 18 May 2014) was a Norwegian politician for the Christian Democratic Party. Life and career Aas was born in Ballangen. Nils Sigurd Aas (21 April 1933 – 10 February 2004) was a Norwegian sculptor. He was one of the most prominent artists in modern Norwegian sculpture and is particularly well known for his statue of Haakon VII, located in the June Seventh Square in Oslo, and for designing coins for Norwegian currency, including 10- krone and 20-krone coins. Alf-Jørgen Aas (5 July 1915 – 20 August 1981) was a Norwegian painter and art instructor. Biography He was born in Trondheim and studied at the Norwegian National Academy of Fine Arts from 1934 to 1938 under Axel Revold (1887–1962), Jean Heiberg (1884–1976) and Georg Jacobsen. He debuted at the contemporary art gallery Kunstnerforbundet in Oslo during November 1939. He exhibited at the Autumn Exhibition at Oslo in 1945. He was married in 1945 to Ingeborg Bühler. Karen Marta Inanda "Kari" Aas (6 October 1886 in Farsund-2 January 1978) was a Norwegian teacher and Scout leader, and served as the Chief Scout of the Norsk Speiderpikeforbund from 1927 to 1935.
