Åpent Bakeri
Open Bakery (Åpent Bakeri) is a Norwegian bakery chain. The first store was opened in June, 1998 at Inkognito Terrasse (a shopping center in downtown Oslo) by Øyvind Lofthus and Emmanuel Rang. At Christmas in 2001, they expanded to Briskeby. A year later they acquired "Plaza Bakeri" at Damplassen, where they bake and sell bread. In early autumn of 2005, they opened "Blings" (a sandwich bar) at St.Olavs Plass. In late autumn of 2007 they moved their main production to Maridalsein 87, on the banks of the Akerselva. Here they currently bake most of their bread and pastries. During the same period, they opened a third shop at Torshov, and in 2008 they opened a fourth shop in Parkveien. Briskeby
Briskeby is an electropop band from Larvik, Norway. Bjørn Bergene, Claus Heiberg Larsen and Bård Helgeland are from Larvik, while Lise Karlsnes is from Tønsberg. Biography Their debut album ''Jeans for Onassis'' was released in 2000, sold 130,000 copies, gathered four Spellemannprisen and gave Briskeby and their front vocalist Lise Karlsnes, a comet start in the music industry. In 2013 the band gave a series of gigs after five years out of business. The band's name is derived from the neighbourhood where their rehearsal room was located. It received some international attention after it toured as supporting act for A-ha in 2000. Akerselva
Akerselva or Akerselven ( en, Aker River) is a river which flows through Oslo. It starts at Maridalsvannet in Oslomarka, and traverses the boroughs of Nordre Aker, Sagene, Grünerløkka, central Oslo and Grønland, whereby it finally ends at Paulsenkaien and Oset in Bjørvika. The river is considered to be a part of the Nordmarkvassdraget, and has the Norwegian watercourse number 006.Z. The entire river is about long, and has a difference in elevation between source and mouth of approximately . Torshov
Torshov is a neighborhood north of Grünerløkka and Lilleborg in the borough Sagene in Oslo, Norway. Oslo Tramway (''Trikken i Oslo'') provides connections with lines running between Majorstuen and Kjelsås. Vogts gate serves as the main street of the neighborhood. Along Vogts gate are several coffee shops, restaurants and cafes. The Torshov public school was built in 1878. Torshov was separated from Sagene as a separate congregation in 1930.
