Ándalus Líneas Aéreas also known as just Ándalus was a Spanish regional airline based in Málaga, Spain. It offered regular flights, charters and ad hoc transportation services aiming to attract tourist traffic to Andalucia and opening up new destinations for the community. History On February 27, 2009, the airline started its first passenger flights. Its founders were executives of the airline Air Madrid, which ceased operation in December 2006. Initially, its fleet comprises an Embraer 145, but this was expected to increase to offer B767 flights to the Caribbean and Latin America, but this never happened. On April 29 it commenced flights on the Gibraltar to Madrid route previously abandoned by GB Airways and Iberia. Málaga
Málaga (, ) is a municipality of Spain, capital of the Province of Málaga, in the autonomous community of Andalusia. ATR 42-300
The ATR 42 is a regional airliner produced by Franco-Italian manufacturer ATR, with final assembly in Toulouse, France. On 4 November 1981, the aircraft was launched with ATR, as a joint venture between French Aérospatiale (now Airbus) and Aeritalia (now Leonardo S.p.A.). The ATR 42-300 performed its maiden flight on 16 August 1984 and type certification was granted during September 1985. Launch customer Air Littoral operated its first revenue-earning flight in December of that year. The high-wing airliner is powered by two turboprop engines, Pratt & Whitney Canada PW120s. The number "42" in its name is derived from the aircraft's original standard seating capacity of 42 passengers. Top Fly was a charter airline and passenger and cargo airline based in Gran Canaria, Spain. History Top Fly was founded in 1998. The company also operated a pilot training schools, one based in Sabadell Airport and another in Monflorite, Huesca Airport.
