Álvaro Pierri
Álvaro Pierri (born 1953 in Montevideo, Uruguay) is a classical guitarist. He is a professor at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna. He received his early musical education from his mother, Ada Estades and aunt, Olga Pierri, on the guitar. Later he studied with Abel Carlevaro, the composer Guido Santórsola at the Uruguayan National Institute of Musicology. From the age of 11 he was already winning prizes in international guitar competitions, including 1st Prize in the International Guitar Competition in Buenos Aires, Argentina, 1st Prize in the International Guitar Competition in Porto Alegre, Brazil, and the gold medal at 18th International Competition by France Musique/Radio France in Paris. Hatto Beyerle
Hatto Beyerle (20 June 1933 – 16 October 2023) was a German-Austrian violist who played mainly as a chamber musician, conductor and academic teacher. He was a founding member of the Alban Berg Quartet, and remained with the string quartet until 1981. He was professor of viola and chamber music at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna from 1964 to 1987, and also taught at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover, the City of Basel Music Academy and Fiesole School of Music, besides international master classes, influencing notable chamber music ensembles. He initiated and directed the European Chamber Music Academy in 2004. Life and career Beyerle was born in Frankfurt on 20 June 1933, the son of a historian of law. Régis Pasquier
Régis Pasquier (born 12 October 1945) is a French violinist from a family of musicians. His father Pierre Pasquier (1902–1986), a violist and his uncles Jean (1903), a violinist, and Étienne (1905–1997), a cellist, had founded a string trio, le Trio Pasquier. His brother Bruno Pasquier is a violist. Biography Born in Fontainebleau, Régis Pasquier was a student of Zino Francescatti, with whom he latter recorded the Concerto for Two Violins by J.S. Bach. In 1958, he won the First Prizes in violin and chamber music at the Conservatoire de Paris. From 1977 to 1986, he was principal violin of the Orchestre National de France.
