Vevey

Vevey (; French pronunciation:; Arpitan: Vevê; former German: Vivis) is a municipality and a town in Switzerland in the canton of Vaud, on the north shore of Lake Geneva, near Lausanne. The German name Vivis is no longer commonly used.
