Tlaxcaltecs

The Tlaxcaltecs (sometimes Tlaxcallans), or Tlaxcalteca, are a Nahua people that formed in the Puebla–Tlaxcala Valley, in the present-day territory of Mexico, during the postclassic period in Mesoamerica (c. 1200–1521 AD).
